The CAFM designation entails mastering the eight core disciplines of fleet management. CAFS is a lower-tier certification program offered by NAFA to designate those who have mastered four specific areas of fleet management.

Exams are offered at least 4 times per year

Certification
Upon passing all 8 disciplines, CAFM participants
disciplines. Participants can sit for 1 to 8 disciplines in one testing g opportunity. pp y Exams range from 30-60 questions Pass mark is 70%
graduate and receive: Certificate and pin; NAFA Chapter Recognition; Letter L tt to t your employer; l Press releases as per your request; Formal recognition at NAFA annual conference; and A featured article in FleetSolutions magazine. CAFS participants who graduate receive: Certificate
Recertification
Certification is valid for 5 years. CAFM/CAFS graduates must acquire
professional points throughout the 5-year interim to remain active. NAFA provides CAFM/CAFS graduates with recertification guidelines outlining activity to retain the CAFM/CAFS designation. On-Line recertification tool.
Non-member and student rates differ. Please refer to CAFM/CAFS applications for current fee structures.
