One of the most important key to draw hair is to observe the tone and see how the hair flows. The techniques that you are going to learn are the faster and easier ways of drawing hair with a realistic effect

Draw some strokes with blunt 5B pencil starting fr om the root of the hair

Draw some strokes with blunt 5B pencil starting from the root of the hair and pull it to the tip. Then, draw some strokes again with sharp 5B pencil. The length of the strokes shouldn’t be the same.

Don’t just copy the steps, learn the techniqu es from every steps that you draw

Don’t just copy the steps, learn the techniques from every steps that you draw and apply them to other hair drawings. This is not the only method to draw hair so don’t just rely on this and you could probably find a method that suits you better. The more you draw, the more you will understand each steps and it will become much easier and faster eventually.
