DIGINFO Secures Data with Randtronics Encryption Solution

iBOS/e 2013: Its "Adaptive User Experience" Powers iCampus, iClub

Any data, if not encrypted, is a give-away information. With such a maxim, and in the light of the growing packs of cyberwolves that intrude and attack company databases both from within and outside the network firewalls, DIGINFO has strengthened the data security features of its platforms and applications. In partnership with Randtronics, Asia Pacific's leading encryption expert, and using its Data Privacy Manager (DPM) solution, DIGINFO has fortified its BOS/e and iBOS/e platforms to secure highly confidential information stored in the databases such the salaries and benefits of executives and top managers. Randtronics DPM provides strong data protection within DB environments. Unlike other masking solutions, DPM protects data in production as well as Test & Dev environments. With its robust masking capabilities DPM transforms data using a combination of different characters and masking ranges. No changes required for client applications. It provides high performance and supports multiple concurrent connections.

NOT resting on the massive improvements that DIGINFO has done on iBOS/e 2012, the company has recently embarked on another major re-engineering effort on iBOS/e for its 2013 edition. This time, the spotlight is on the so-called "Adaptive User Experience" feature which makes iBOS/e 2013 capable of providing personalized portal and self-service experience for multiple types of users in any massive organization. While the adaptive portal and self-service platform in iBOS/e resembles with Facebook in some ways, it differs from the way it handles massive number of users with different roles in the organization. iBOS/e 2013 powers iCampus, the new solution especially crafted by DIGINFO for educational institutions which provides students, faculty members, administrators and office personnel with dashboard artifacts, apps and services that are pertinent to their respective roles. iBOS/e 2013 also powers iClub, another new solution created by DIGINFO for massive membership clubs which provides engaging experiences for club members, organizers, executives, managers and office personnel. Aside from schools and clubs, religious organizations, dealerships and even government agencies can also benefit from iBOS/e 2013's adaptive user experience feature. iBOS/e is an award-winning Web portal and self-service platform which pioneered this genre of software application in the early 2000s. It currently powers the employee portals of large Philippine companies such as Ramcar Food Group, Unilab, Texas Instruments and Dole Philippines-Stanfilco.

iMachineCloud Unveils iMC Drive, iMC Mail, Other New Products

START-UPS and small companies, in their bid to boost their efficiency and productivity, would need essentially similar IT-wares as their large counterparts. They need integrated systems to automate their business operations, generate financial reports, process payroll, among other business functions. But unlike large companies, start-ups and small companies have limited budgets and their IT needs are usually served on a piecemeal or as-need-arises basis. Enter iMachineCloud. iMachineCloud offers DIGINFO software products that run in the Cloud as software-as-a-service (or SaaS). While each product can be enjoyed on a stand-alone, piece-meal approach, iMC takes care of integrating them such that they become a cohesive, end-to-end system in the long run. Previously, iMachineCloud has introduced some of DIGINFO's bestsellers such as BOS/e PayFast, BOS/e PeopleWARE and iBOS/e WebShell. This month, iMachineCloud has added some new products such as iMC Drive, iMC Mail and iMC SVN. Powered by ownCloud, an open source cloud storage technology, iMC Drive provides secure storage functions similar to Dropbox. iBOS/e Mail, which is being powered by iRedMail, on the other hand, provides mailbox functions similar to GMail. However, unlike Dropbox and GMail, iMC Drive and iMC Mail are privately owned and administered by the company that uses them.
