NDC SERIES

STEPPING MOTOR DRIVES

LOW COST OEM DRIVES WITH DC SUPPLY (400 to 4000 steps/rev)

NDC06.V

NDC06

High efficiency bipolar chopper circuit. Optional DIN rail mounting. Protection from motor short circuit, overtemperature and overvoltage. 400 to 4000 steps/rev for smooth running at low speeds. 6 Amps @ 24 - 75V. Drives 23 & 34 frame motors. All settings by dip switches. No external current set resistors. Optoisolated signal inputs & outputs for protection. Built in ramped oscillator for manual RUN control. Suitable for two phase motors, 4, 6 or 8 leads. Powered by simple unregulated DC power supply. Screw terminal connections.
The NDC series of stepper motor drives are ideal for single or multi axis motion control applications where a low cost solution is required. Resolution is selectable to 4000 steps/rev for smooth operation. The power supply is unregulated DC, from user supplied transformer, rectifier and filter capacitor. Control inputs are optocoupled voltage signals for step and direction functions. An optional DIN rail mounting adapter is also available. Two models are available to cover a large range of motor sizes. Protection against motor short circuit is also included. The HGD drives are ideally suited to OEMs for multi axis motion control applications such as positioning systems, pick and place machines, packaging machines, XY tables, labelling applicators, testing machines and contouring systems. The drives also have a built in oscillator for manual RUN operations like labelling and feed control.

-De-energise When this signal is ON the drive is active. +De-energise When this signal is OFF the drive is inhibited so motor current (and holding torque) is zero. With the jumper CO fitted this input is always on. -Direction +Direction When this signal is ON the motor direction is reversed. This signal must be on for at least 100ms before STEP input is received and must remain on at least 100ms after the last step is received.
