Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland is asking for your assistance with our signature fund raising event, the 8th Annual Bowl For Kids Sake Jersey Bowl April 4-6, 2013. Bowl for Kids Sake is the signature fundraising event for nearly all Big Brothers Big Sisters Agencies. Locally, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland hosts over 300 individuals in our bowling celebration for the benefit of enhancing mentoring programs. Dollars raised stay in Siouxland to support volunteer recruitment efforts, provide professional staff that screens volunteers before they are matched, perform monthly monitoring of each matchs progress, and organize group events for both active matches and for those children still waiting to be matched. You can help our efforts by supporting our sponsorship campaign. We have created a three tiered level of sponsorship, but can always customize a package to fit your company specific needs or wants. In-kind donations of product or gift certificates are another vital piece to our event. Prizes are used to incent bowlers to bring in more funds and create a fun and exciting atmosphere. More funds equal more matches! Providing gifts is an excellent opportunity to help the agencys efforts as well as promoting your companys philanthropic ideals. Company Bowling is a focus area for this years event. Are you looking for a way to thank your employees or do a team building event? We got it covered. Sign up your office for either the Thursday 3:00-5:00 p.m. session or the Friday 6:00-8:00 p.m. session and we will provide everything you need. Bowlers who raise the minimum $100 will receive an event T-shirt, food, drinks (non-alcoholic) bowling, shoe rental and an opportunity to win great prizes. Participants who increase to $125, (new prize level for 2013) will receive an insulated Red Solo Cup and Chick-Fil-A sandwich card and those who achieve the $150 level will receive a dry-fit performance sweatshirt and a ticket for the elite level door prizes.
