Mr. Dhirendra Swarup

Chairman

Mr. Dhirendra Swarup is serving as the Chairman on the Boards of FPSB India and Financial Planning Corporation (India) Private Limited (FPCIL). Mr. Swarup is the Member Convenor of the Financial Sector Legislative Reforms Commission (FSLRC). He also served as the Chairman of the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) from where he retired in 2010. Prior to this, he was also involved in the drafting of the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) Act, 2003. He served as Secretary (Expenditure & Budget) in the Ministry of Finance from 2004 to 2005. He has also served as a member of the SEBI board. He was Vice Chairman of the International Network on Financial Education, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) from 2007 to 2009.

Mr. Ranjeet S. Mudholkar is serving as the Vice Chairman and CEO of Financial Planning Standards Board India (FPSB India). In the past ten years, he has led the transformation of FPSB India till date. In 2009, he served as Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Forum, comprising FPSB Affiliates. He also served as a Member of the Nominating Committee for selecting candidates for the 2013 FPSB Global Board of Directors. Besides ensuring that the Vision and Goals of successive Boards are well executed, he has been responsible to ensure the growth of the organisation while keeping all the stakeholders aligned. He is also the Editor of the Financial Planning Journal, a leading monthly periodical for the Financial Planning community in India. Earlier, he has also served as the Director of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), a premier Business Management School in India, between 1997-2001. Mr. Cyril Shroff is serving as a Managing Partner of Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A Shroff & Co, Indias largest and foremost law firm. With over 25 years of experience in a range of areas, including corporate laws, securities markets, banking, infrastructure and others, Mr. Shroff is regarded and has been consistently rated as Indias top corporate, banking and project finance lawyer by several international surveys including Euromoney, Chambers Global, IFLR and Asia Legal 500. He has authored several publications on legal topics besides being a visiting lecturer of securities law at the Government Law College. He is a member of the advisory board of the Centre on Lawyers and the Professional Services Industry, established by the Harvard Law School, and a member of the advisory board of the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). Mr. Shroff was admitted to the Bar Council in 1982 after receiving his BA and LLB degrees from the Government Law College in Mumbai. He has been a solicitor at the Bombay High Court since 1983.

Mr. Deepak Chatterjee

Mr. Deepak Chatterjee has experience of over 32 years in State Bank of India in various areas such as Credit Administration, Investment Banking, International Banking Operations and Branch Management. In his previous assignment, Mr. Chatterjee was General Manger (Financial Institutions Group), International Business Group in SBI where he was handling fund raising for SBI outside India, Country Risk and Bank exposures. In his previous assignments in the last 10 years, he has held senior positions in SBI and SBI Capital Markets. Mr. Chatterjee is M.Sc from IARI and also holds MBA qualification from FMS, Delhi. He has also completed CAIIB from the IIBF.

Ms. Monika Halan, CFPCM

Ms Monika Halan is Editor of Mint Money and part of the leadership team at Mint, Indias second largest business newspaper that has an exclusive partnership with the Wall Street Journal. She is a reputed media personality, known for her expertise in personal finance. She is a Yale World Fellow which is Yale Universitys signature global leadership development initiative. In her previous assignment, she was the Editor of Outlook Money, Indias largest personal finance magazine. She has also worked with the government as Advisor to the Swarup Committee. An alumnus of Delhi School of Economics, Shri Ram College of Commerce and Cardiff University, she wrote her first book, Seven Steps to Financial Freedom, in 2005.

Mr. Milind Barve

Mr. Milind Barve serves as the Managing Director and CEO at HDFC Asset Management Company Ltd. He joined the firm in 2002. Mr. Barve was the General Manager of Treasury at HDFC Ltd. and headed the department for 14 years. He was responsible for the management of HDFCs Treasury portfolio and for raising funds from Financial Institutions and Capital Markets. Mr. Barve was also the Head of Marketing for retail deposit products and responsible for investment advisory relationships for Commonwealth Equity Fund Mutual Fund and Invesco India Growth Fund. He is also a director on the Board of other companies besides being the Chairman of Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). Mr. N. Sivaraman

Mr. N. Sivaraman is the President and Wholetime Director at L&T Finance Holdings Ltd. He is serving at L&T for the last 28 years. Over the period, he has been involved in all aspects of finance and accounts, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. He is responsible for and oversees the following entities L&T Finance Limited, L&T Infrastructure Finance Company Limited, L&T Investment Management Limited and L&T General Insurance Company Limited. During his career at L&T, Mr. Sivaraman has played a key role in structuring the demerger of the cement business of L&T and inducting private equity investors in L&T Infrastructure Development Projects Limited. He is a Chartered Accountant and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr. Rajan Ghotgalkar

Mr. Rajan Ghotgalkar has been the Country Head - India of Principal International since late 2007; and is also the Managing Director of Principal PNB Asset Management Company (P) Ltd. He spearheads the Principal Internationals interests in India and also serves as a Director on the Boards of Principal Retirement Advisors Company (P) Ltd. and Principal Global Services (P) Ltd. Mr. Rakesh Jain is serving as the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd. He has over 18 years of industry experience, his previous assignment being with ICICI Lombard, where he played leadership roles across Operations, IT, Claims Management, Reinsurance, Corporate Business and the Broking channel. Mr. Jain holds Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant certifications. Mr. Suresh Mahalingam is the Managing Director of Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd. He holds a Bachelor in Commerce from Madras University and PGPIM from International Management Institute, India. He has earlier served HDFC Standard Life as General Manager Marketing. He has been serving the Life Insurance industry in various capacities besides heading a task force of Bombay Chamber of Commerce. His initiatives have helped in building sector specific consensus and network in order to address relevant issues that arise in the path of promoting and percolating insurance amongst the masses. With more than two decades of experience in the insurance sector, his competence & qualifications would help understand the channelization of efforts in synchronizing the distribution strategies in tune with the changing regulatory environment.
