MSc Dissertation: Dissertation at National Institute of Oceanography, Goa; under the guidance of Dr. A K Chaubey (Chief Scientist). Title: Channel dimensions and Paleodischarge estimates of buried channel system in Palk Bay, East Coast of India Objectives: o Identify buried channel systems using high resolution shallow seismic data o Delineate buried channel system

o Estimate channel dimensions and paleo-discharges o Hypothesize time of formation of the channel observed in the seismic sections o Understand the process of formation of features under investigation. Conclusion: o The Palk Bay channel systems were likely to have been formed as incision onto older strata and chaotic seismic units consistently observed at the bases of channel fills.

o Channel morphologies may have been subsequently and quickly modified and partially overlain by erosion and deposition imparted by tidal currents and waves. o Tidal energy modified the channel geometry and preserved fill deposits during subsequent transgression.

Experience: 1. TomTom India Ltd. (Feb 2013 to Present). o Sr. GSA (Geographic Sourcing Analyst):
Responsible for data input to TT survey teams. Communication & Monitoring of survey activities. Survey planning and execution. Preparation of Input, Receipt and QC of the data.

2. Tele Atlas Kalyani India Ltd (Currently known as TomTom India) during 2008-10. o PVB (Product Validation and Benchmarking) Engineer:
Responsible for Product Validation and Benchmarking. Perform product tests in accordance to the global standards (internal and customer specific) and analyze product performance. Final Product Quality and asses the results, suggest improvements

o Team Lead:
Responsible for maintenance of Daily Survey Status. Co-coordinating with On- Field Team Leaders for survey activities. Handling in-house Vendor Team (30-45 Members total in 2 shifts.). Reporting & maintenance of the daily Input-Output sheets for the vendor team. Carrying out QA and QC for output data (vendor team) and problem solving if encountered.

o Jr. Wind Resource Engineer. (Training phase):

Responsible to analyze and infer wind regimes of different Topographies in the area. Also, to calculate Maximum generation output for the selected attributes. Survey and analyze the designated area in reference to evaluate the generation calculations. Usage of specific software (WindPRO and WAsP) for the calculation of energy output.

Presented a paper on Managing Surface Water Resources in Urban Environments using High Resolution Satellite Data at National Conference on Geomatics for Infrastructure Development and ISG Annual Convention, Chennai.

Organized a workshop on New Map Policy in India in the year 2004-05 on behalf of Sinhgad College of Science. Summer project carried out on concept note basis and preliminary phase during Masters Diploma in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System titled as Crime Zone Detection.
