Greetings from the beautiful island of Cebu! We have returned after four months of medical treatments in California and it is great to be back with the flock, with family, friends and ChaiChai, Sarah and Tiny, our dogs.

Farewell Celebration
Our farewell celebration at CC Downey was a blessing with over 60 people stopping to share with us and pray with us. We saw some people that I have not seen in almost 10 years.

Arrival in Cebu On Thursday the 28th of February we arrived home to Cebu at 11:45 AM and were greeted by some of the church members (others were busy preparing for a feeding of 600+). The weather was hot and humid (no more sleeping with a coat on for Sheilani) but the love was electrifying. We felt so welcome. We proceeded to the house where Sheilanis order of rice and fish were waiting. We fellowshipped for a while and broke out the WII Dance 4 CD and rejoiced together. All were blessed. We were happy to be home.

Back to Work
On Friday I began where I left off, teaching the Young Adults. We studied Psalm 1 in depth. This Sunday we will finish the book of Lamantations, Chapter 5 and have communion. New Hope Murrieta
Before we left we had a few opportunities to share what the Lord is doing in Cebu. One of those opportunities was on February 24th to share with New Hope Murrieta. The Pastor has been a friend of mine on Facebook for a few years. We actually met this year at the Annual Missions Conference in Murrieta. It was a blessing to meet so many nice people and to share with them. Many in the church are Filipino so Sheilani felt right at home. While there we met up with old friends from CC Downey who live in the Murrieta area and enjoyed catching up.

Future Plans This year we will expand our ministry as we continue to grow. The Summer Team this year will bring the Titus 2 program Woman2Woman with them to train our church and other Calvarys on the island. In addition we will reestablish our 1 day VBS with the team where we will bless over 1000 children. In addition, we are praying about starting a School of Ministry in Cebu to grow our church and others spiritually. Pray for Gods continued direction on how and if to pursue this venture.

The thank you notes are many and we dont want to miss anyone so we wont mention names. We thank everyone who made us feel at home, especially my wife on her first visit to the States.
