This source expresses in detail about Nazi propaganda forcing a certain mentality on the youth of Germany. It demonstrates how anti-Semitism became part of school curriculum, and students learned that Jews werent people like them. This source will be useful for my topic because it exemplifies how propaganda can corrupt the mind of an individual. It can also help me address the argument about Nazi propaganda focusing on the youth, because the young mind is easier to mold.

Der ewige Jude. Dir. Fritz Hippler. .1940. Youtube. The Eternal Jew is a propaganda film made to convince the German public that all Jews were scum and the reason for all the problems in Germany. This film was convincing enough to change the Germans perspective of even their fellow countrymen.

Liberman 2 This movie will be critical for my paper because it is probably one of the most noted and convincing pieces of propaganda during the Holocaust, and maybe the world.

Gary, Brett. The Nervous Liberals: Propaganda Anxieties from World War I to the Cold War. New York: Columbia UP, 1999. Questia School. Web. 1 Mar. 2013. This source has propaganda examples of Nazi propaganda and the Cold War. It goes in depth of how the propaganda changed the mentality of the masses, and in the case of Germany, let the good people, overlook their nation killing an abundance of innocent people based on not being Aryan. This source will help me elaborate on how propaganda can skew the mind of a person. Relating to my thesis statement of how propaganda and media effects the mind and the view of the world.

It displays what was happening to the American people, which shows what effects the Cold War had on them. This source will help me better see the mentality of the American people during the Cold War, helping me see how propaganda effected them during this time. This probably will not be one of my most used source because it does not focus on propaganda, but it will definitely be hepful.

The Americans. FX. Fox Entertainment Group. Dallas, 2013 Present. Television. The Americans is a show about two KGB officers posing as a married American couple during the Cold War. Over time one of them Philip Jennings slowly becomes more Americanized. This source will help me show how strong propaganda really is in influencing people. I will use examples of how a even a KGB agent can be put under the control of propaganda.

The Holocaust and the Printed Word. Word Press November 2010. Web. 4 Mar. 2013. This is a blog containing many visual works of Nazi propaganda. most of these pictures either try to put blame on the Jews for current financial/post-war problems, show them as money grubbing selfish people, or even as primitive beings that just dont deserve to live.

Liberman 4 I plan to use these images to further convey my point of how propaganda can corrupt the mind, and change ones perspective from reality. Just because something looks official, the general public will immediately assume its true.
