The Reconciliation of a Penitent is always available in our Church to those who desire it. Reconciliation is particularly appropriate during Lent since Lent is the time during the Church Year that we are taught to consider those things we have done or left undone and accept God's forgiveness. Confession is fundamental to the worship of the Church. Individual confession can be affirming though it is neither necessary nor obligatory. To find out more about the rite, see page 446 of the Book of Common Prayer; to discuss or receive the sacrament, contact Johnnette+. We still have a few UTO blue boxes and pouches in the undercroft. Please consider getting one now and start saving your change in anticipation of the spring in-gathering.
