The Undocumented Population
-11.2 million undocumented immigrants of all ages living in the United States -2.1 million undocumented students in the United States potentially eligible for the most recently proposed federal DREAM Act. -1.1 million undocumented children under the age of 18 living in the United States. -7,000 13,000 undocumented students enrolled in college throughout the United States.

Voters overwhelmingly reject mass deportation. Only 19 percent of voters believed that all unauthorized immigrants should be sent back to their home country, according to a December 2011 Fox News poll. . The public supports the Obama administrations decision to grant undocumented youth protection from deportation and work permits. A NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll in late June 2012 showed that nearly 7 in 10 Americans are in favor of the Obama administrations new immigration policy toward DREAM-eligible youth.

The ACHIEVE Act:

Scholarship of the Week: Univision Scholarship for Undocumented Students: The award amounts vary between $5,000 to possible four year scholarships. Applicants must meet specific requirements: must be of Hispanic descent, must have earned a 3.0 GPA, must be a graduate of a U.S. high school, and must show a history of extra-curricular activities.
