What goes around, comes around.

Or does anyone think that The United States will be able to continue terrorizing other countries indenitely, without itself being terrorized in return? That is terribly unrealistic thinking. The United States has been terrorizing other peoples since its inception. Many think that is crazy. But it is true. I will consider briey here just one example of United States terrorism. The American War in Vietnam. During that war, which was from its beginning an attempt to impose and maintain a foreign-conceived government on a spirited, intelligent people who had a long history of resisting foreign domination, and in direct opposition to the will and well-being of the huge majority of those people, the United States terrorized, in many of the most brutal, devastating and scarring ways imaginable, the people of 3 countries over a more than 10 year period---killing an unknown number, maybe one to three million. And

grievously wounding many millions more. The terror inicted by this brutal U.S. action is incalculable. The American War in Vietnam employed extensive use of free-re zones (the devils own idea--their country--our free-re zone), napalm, search and destroy missions, chemical defoliation (killing the land); it involved the massive bombing of cities, the burning-up of untold numbers of villages, and the killing and torturing of countless babies, children, youth, old people, woman, and men; American soldiers spoke of gooks and body counts. American Presidents spoke of the light at the end of the tunnel(Johnson), a secret plan for peace(Nixon), and ...ours was, in truth, a noble cause(Reagan, long after the war). Baloney. Johnny got his gun. (A group of American corporations, and their investors, did make astronomical and astounding prots. Which is the only thing that matters to them. Apparently.)

In an extremely rough comparison, the immensity of the terrorism in America on 9/11/01, God awful as that was, was in comparison maybe like a penny compared to a ten or twenty or hundred dollar bill. (I make that very rough, very unpleasant comparison because many Americans fail to realize the dimensions of the atrocity committed by our beloved nation in South East Asia, not long ago.) Where was the good of the U.S. action in that situation? It was a bloody human catastrophe---we wreaked havoc. The terrorism that the U.S. exhibited in Vietnam was not an aberration. For the U.S., terrorism has always been a sizable modus operandi of international relations. Consider Americas treatment of the Native Americans, of the Filipinos, of the Cubans, of the Greeks, of the Congolese, of the Guatemalans, of the Chileans, of the Nicaraguans, of the Salvadorans, of the Panamanians, of the Haitians, of the Indonesians, of the Afghanistanis, of the Iraqis, of the Iranians, etc., etc.

Was the United States trying to save the people of Vietnam, and the world, from that vicious, godless monster Communism? No. No. No. That is a smoke screen--which a large majority of Americans, ill informed as they are, believe. The United States was ensuring that what we say goes. And the we here is not you and me. It is that relatively small group of people who own our economy, who own the media (and, hence, a large portion of the public mind), who own the Republican Party (totally) and who own, to a somewhat lessor degree maybe, the Democratic Party. This small group of people want to own the entire world. And every one in it. They are getting closer and closer to this. The Republicans are doing there best to give it to them. Communism was an attempt, a violent one, to remedy the grossly unjust distribution of wealth and power--to establish government that treats all people with respect, not just rich people. It stems from that peculiar notion that it is not right that 1% of the people posses a large majority of all of the wealth, while grinding poverty abounds. The specter of people having to work extremely hard, covered in

sweat and tears, earning a pittance, barely surviving, while owners swim in superuous and wasted wealth, spread poison in the air, water, and food, and destroy the future by their ignorant impact upon the biosphere, is an ugly one. And it is easy to see--if you lift your eyes from the entertainment and the propaganda, and endeavor to see the world that we really live in. The already rich and powerful, many of them Americans, think it only right and positive that they should have the freedom to do what they like--let the poor, let the world be damned. This is a huge, pressing problem in todays world--and it is getting worse. We are in vast, crying need of spiritual insight--that we are all parts of the same spirit, that all people are brothers and sisters. And the many many millions of Americans who have not reached to the truth of what our government and society is doing in the world, the havoc we are creating, the death and destruction we bring, and who prefer to congratulate themselves and this nation on what great, self-sacricing people we are,

spreading democracy all around the world--these Americans are creating and establishing this benighted future--where a small group of people run roughshod over everyone else--because, after all, they own the world and are free to do what they want.

Freedom!

Spiritual Bankruptcy.

Karma is an immutable aspect of the way the universe works. (I speak not of reincarnation--I speak of within-the-life-span karma.) It has long been recognized by Christianity, and Judaism--

As a man sows, so shall he reap.

(From the Bible, Galatians VI) Here are some additional Bible verses-Job 4:8 those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same. Proverbs 22:8 Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity, Jeremiah 17:10 I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds. 2 Corinthians 9:6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

And does this, the worldwide golden rule, apply? Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. What about this? somewhere 1:2 Sow the wind---reap the whirlwind.

If the U.S. does not make a sharp turn towards having a life-afrming effect on the people of the world, it will continue to make its own bed one of massive terror--and we will sleep in it. (Maybe it will be the terror of our own minds, unavoidably noticing and reecting on what devastation we have wrought. Or maybe we will wakeup one day, nd harmony gone from the world, and wonder where it went. Or maybe terrorized people will somehow nd a way to get back at their tormenter in a big, bloody way.) One way or another, we will be repaid for undertaking actions that are spiritually blind. We would do much better, as would all people on the earth, if our nation were to Stop Terrorizing People. But most Americans do not realize that we are. In fact, millions of Americans nd the very idea that the U.S. is terrorizing people absurd and utterly dismissible. This is our failure--of awareness, of honesty, of clear-sightedness, of intelligence, of

humility, of humanity, of heart, of soul. And if we do not make it right, life will damn us. Either obviously, or subtly. When we do evil, things do not go well for us. If only in our own consciousness. Read some books, people! Inform yourselves as to what is happening! To nd what is truly happening takes much work. Our nation, America, is far from being a positive contributor to the world situation. Reform is needed--much reform! Lets become good people!
