1 Student 1 Sport Policy requires all students to participate in at least one sport activity in schools.

This policy supports the implementation of the National Education Philosophy which aims to produce individuals who are balanced in terms of intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical (Nordin,1991) . With this policy, each student will be actively involved by participating in school sports activities throughout the year. This policy is in line with the National Sports Policy for sports culture in the community and should be initiated at the school level through two strategies of Sport for All and Sports to excellence. Sport activities under the Sports for All is very important in building the health, morale and welfare of all students. For Sports Excellence, the performance of students with talent and potential to be further developed under the Young Talent Program of Excellence, High Performance Sports School and other sports that could be offered by the school. Therefore, every student participates in sports is very important as a platform to support the aspirations of the 1 Malaysia a healthy, active, dynamic and cohesive. This policy is in line with the Prime Minister in support of the spirit of 1 Malaysia. Indeed 1 Student 1 Sport Policy is able to develop human capital through comprehensive participation among students in sporting activities throughout the year. As we know the policy direction of education in our country is very clear that human capital that superior attitude and noble personality.Therefore, 1 Student 1 Sport Policy can indirectly build character, self-esteem, discipline and moral values among the students at the school.This policy aims to develop school sport towards increasing the participation rate of students in at least one sport in schools. In fact, all students including students with special needs who do not have health problems should be required to take part in at least one sport. Beside that,1S 1M policy compulsory for Year 4 to Year 6 in primary and Transition, Form 1 to Form 6 in secondary school. In fact, the students from preschool to Year 3 are also encouraged to participate in this program based on the ability of the school.This is because the government wants to build and generate useful human capital in the nation through sport. In addition, 1 Student 1 Sport Policy will promote a sports culture among school children to become productive members of society to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle for healthy body brainy. The sports activities work is to improve one's physical fitness and a natural instinct to meet students in physical activity.It is said that because the government realized that more Malaysians citizen ignore sports because life is too busy with the day to day.As a result, the number of Malaysians citizen suffering from obesity and obesity are increasing every year.This scenario is very detrimental because this group is usually inactive and suffering various diseases which are harmful to themselves.. If we look from a different perspective, 1 Student 1 Sport Policy is able to foster national unity among the various races in Malaysia. As we know, Malaysia continues to be an example to other countries in the world for its success in forming unity among the multiracial community for 55 years. In fact, the Government is aware that the people should not forget the importance of unity to build a successful and harmonious Malaysian because the best indicator that direction is through sports.The spirit of cooperation is very important in the success of a sporting activity. In addition, 1 Student 1 Sport Policy can provide a balance between academic requirements with physical needs. This policy can provide access to all students benefit from involvement in sports

in particular to those who were less active or not. However, students nowadays are more likely to be too conscious Bookaholic for excellence in academics because they think that sports activities a waste of their time (Ahmad Badawi,1984). Perception like that need to be scraped from their dictionary of life because they need to allocate time to do physical vitality like playing football, swim, join the track event and so on for their good. In fact, a healthy mind comes from the body fit so if a student has a healthy body, students can focus on their studies (Biddle, S.J,1995).. Abu Bakar Nordin. (1991).
