M E THO D Petals Using A, [make 9ch, skip 1ch, ss in each of next 8ch] 37 times. Fasten off. Pin out row of petals and press. Center With same side facing and using B, join yarn in the space between first and 2nd petals, 3ch, 3-st dc dec in next 3 spaces, * 4-st dc dec in next 4 spaces; repeat from * to end. Fasten off, leaving a long end. Making up Coil the center so that there are 3 layers of petals. Gathering center slightly, stitch in place. Take yarn end from center and make stem: 15ch, skip 1ch, ss in each of next 14ch. Fasten off.

METHOD Using A, make 4ch, join with ss into a ring.

1st round (RS) 3ch, [1sc, 2ch] twice in ring, with B ss to first of 3ch.

METHOD Flower Using A, make 4ch, join with ss into a ring. 1st round (RS) 2ch, 9sc in ring, with B ss to top ch of 2ch. 10 sts. Continue with B. 2nd round 5ch, 1dtr in each of next 9sc, ss to top ch of 5ch. Fasten off. Stem Using C, make 12ch, skip 1ch, ss in each of next 7ch, leaf: 5ch, skip 2ch, 1dc in next ch, 1sc in next ch, ss in next ch; ss in each of remaining 4ch. Fasten off. Making up Press stem and leaf only then attach to back of flower.

3 sts and 3ch sp. Continue with B.

2nd round [4ch, 3-st tr cluster in ch sp, 4ch, 1sc in top of cluster, 4ch, ss in

next sc of first round] 3 times, ending ss in ss of first round. Fasten off.
