RESOLUTION OF JOINT STATEHOOD _______________ RESOLUTION OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL AND TERRITORY REFERENDUM ASSEMBLED AT PUERTO RICO ISLAND, NOVEMBER

6, 2012 _______________ Electronic Copy for General Public _______________ RESOLUTION OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL AND TERRITORY REFERENDUM ASSEMBLED AT PUERTO RICO ISLAND, NOVEMBER 6, 2012 We, the American Citizens who reside in Puerto Rico, that vote in the past Referendum and in a vast majority deny the actual territorial condition of Common Withholding and in a well majority select the Statehood condition status, do hereby declare that territories are entitled to, and of right ought to, be immediately admitted into the North American Union as one free and independent State, on terms of equality as between themselves, and on an equal footing with the other States. Due that the United States do not consider the results of the 1903 referendum in Puerto Rico, where the people of Puerto Rico preferred the Independence statement, today we as an other generation, 109 years later, recognize the latest referendums results election OFFICIAL, and we declare it final and decisive. We have but one petition and one request, to present to the American Congress, and that is that immediate joint statehood be granted to Puerto Rico Territory, on their own merits and without reference to any right or claim of other Territories seeking admission to the North American Union. In support of the foregoing declaration we offer the following reasons: First Our area is sufficient. Our territory is a strategic point for trade and defense of the United States of America since Puerto Rico passed to be part as US territory. Under the permanent union, would eliminate cabotage laws and the economy gradually improve for the United States and Puerto Rico. Second The use of Puerto Rico like a laboratory experiment is sufficient. Private and Federal Government have experimented with all kinds of scientific and military projects, including military exercises over the Puerto Rican population and the environment, more than anywhere else in the world and the United States itself.

Third Our participation in War is sufficient. We participated historically and shed our blood in the defense of the American nation and the constitution of the United States of America. Fourth Our natural resources are sufficient. We have a vast wealth of natural resources, among them the largest freshwater, reserve in the world and the United States. A diverse and unique natural ecosystems forests and subterranean minerals provide the special interest of modern investigation by many scientists in the world and the United States of America. Fifth Our citizenship is not enough. Not only as citizens, we are called to defend the United States only, and be part of experiments that we never know (of course that is inhuman). It is also our right to vote for President of the United States, delegates, senators and candidates, legitimately represent us in Congress of the United States of America that defend us and enjoy the same right like another citizens of the United States of America. Respectfully, The United States Citizens, of Puerto Rico, US Territory.
