RESIDENCE PERMIT INFORMATION

Non-EU citizens have to get in contact with the Immigration Office (Auslnderbehrde) within 90 days of their arrival in Germany. You have to prove that you have sufficient financial funds ( 670 per month) for your stay in Germany. If you receive a scholarship, you may have to prove additional financial funds, if it does not cover the amount of 670 per month (or it covers 670 per month, but not the number of months you want to stay in Germany). Additional financial funds can be proved by having the sufficient amount of money in your German bank account (which you will open during the Orientation Programme) or by having a document signed by your parents / and bank showing their financial support for the period of your exchange (this is the easiest way!)

We confirm that we will provide our son/daughter with a minimum amount of 670,- per month for the period of his/her studies in Germany. Wir besttigen, dass wir unsere(n) Sohn/Tochter whrend des Studienaufenthalts in Deutschland mit einem monatlichen Mindestbetrag von 670,- untersttzen werden.

Should this sum not be sufficient to cover his/her living expenses in Germany (including health insurance) we guarantee to cover all additional expenses needed. We further guarantee that our son/daugther will not make use of any public funding for the duration of his/her residence in Germany ( 68 Abs. 1 Auslndergesetz/Law for Foreign Residents). Sollte diese Summe nicht fr die Sicherung des Lebensunterhalts in Deutschland (inkl. KV-Schutz) ausreichen, so garantieren wir alle zustzlich anfallenden Kosten zu bernehmen. Weiterhin garantieren wir, dass unser(e) Sohn/Tochter whrend des Aufenthalts in Deutschland keine ffentlichen Finanzmittel in Anspruch nehmen werden ( 68 Abs. 1 Auslndergesetz)
