Student: Rs.500 /Research Scholar: Rs.500 /Faculty / Industry: Rs.800 /Interested participants are requested to send the filled-in registration form to the Organizing Secretary. Photocopies of the form may be used. Registration fee will be accepted by Demand Draft drawn in favor of VIT University Chennai Campus, payable at Chennai along with the completed application form. Research Scholars are eligible for fee concession only with supporting proofs.

About SCSE
The School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT University was established for imparting a state-of the-art education, training and research in the field of Computer and its wide wings. It offers B.Tech., M.S. (Software Engineering), M.C.A., and Ph. D. Programmes in the domain of Computer Science. The expertise of the faculty members includes Signal Processing, Spatial Data Mining, Mobile Networks, Image Processing, Speech Processing, NLP, Algorithms, Multicore Architecture, Wireless Communications, Bio-Informatics, and all frontier areas.

Workshop Theme
Image processing is exciting and active fields of research, where disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Biology and Medicine inter disciplinarily cooperate together. The workshop aims to discuss the image processing research issues, medical image processing and the image segmentations. Computed tomography (CT), Magnet resonance imaging (MRI) and Ultrasound (US) are commonly known. The discipline of image processing deals with the generation and reconstruction, pre-processing and improvement, analysis and quantification, as well as visualization and management of all kind of images. This workshop has been organized to give an overall view and research openings and acts as a platform to support academic exchange in image processing research and development.
