Assembly part numbers prior to accomplishing 250-C20 CEB-1084.

REASON:

To increase its tolerance to contaminants in the fuel, an improved bypass valve is released for the CECO power turbine governor. The new bypass valve assembly meters fuel on the seat rather than on the window edge of the outlet ports in the sleeve. Also, the new valve incorporates a relief notch in its sleeve to provide radial clearance in the metering area. Revision No. 2 January 25, 1980

DESCRIPTION:

Power turbine governor assemblies may be reworked by replacing P/N 102239 or 102751 Valve and Sleeve Assembly with P/N 102941 Valve and Sleeve Assembly. Following rework, the governor assembly is reidentified.

INTERCHANGEABILITY: Not affected. COMPLIANCE: I It is recommended that this bulletin be completed at first access no later than next overhaul following parts availability and in no case later than December, 1980. NOTE: APPROVAL: MANPOWER: MATERIAL This publication supersedes 250-C20 CEB-1084. Approved.

ACCOMPLISHMENT I.

INSTRUCTIONS: rework power turbine governor

At first access no later than next overhaul, assemblies as follows: A. B.

Replace P/N 102239 or 102751 Bypass Valve and Sleeve Assembly with P/N 102941 Valve and Sleeve Assembly. Recalibrate the governor in accordance with the calibration procedure given in the OH Manual Appendix Bl except for the following change to the MINIMUM FLOW CHECK, Tesit Point No. 9. ****Bypass leakage check. (Measure from PO port.) Limit: 15cc/minute maximum.
