All Fuel Control Assemblies prior to Serial No. 3AAC2088. All Power Turbine Governor Assemblies prior to Serial No. 3AAD2364. All Power Turbine Governor Assemblies (multi-engine application) prior to Serial No. 3ACEl75.

REASON: DESCRIPTION:

To recheck the integrity of the threaded end of the control throttle shaft and governor quadrant and shaft assembly. The lever retaining nut on each shaft is intentionally overtorqued to 150-166 inch pounds. to check the integrity of the threaded end. One time inspection-to 100 flight hours. be accomplished within the next

No additional man-hours ape required if accomplished during the next scheduled inspection. Not affected. Approved. None required.

The following special tools are available from the Distributor or CECO Representative. sTD67357-1 (Straight Shoulder) Bushing STD67357-2 (Chamfered Shoulder) Bushing NOTE: All fuel controls have throttle shafts with z&ght shoulders; most governors have throttle shafts with Bered shafts. Should a governor be found with a straight shouldered shaft, use the straight shoulder bushing.

CECOFUELCONTROLTHROTTLESHAFTANDGOVERNOR QUADRANT AND SHAFT ASSEMBLY-INSPECT ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS: as follows:

L Inspect the threaded end of fuel control throttle shaft and governor quadrant
and shaft assembly within the next 100 flight-hours Fuel Control A.

1. Remove nut, throttle lever


and serrated spacer from throttle shaft.

Install STD67357-1 (Straight Shoulder) Bushing on throttle shaft. (See Figure 1.) Reinstall nut and tighten to 150-160 inch pounds torque. Should fuel control throttle shaft fracture, replace shaft per DGIL-25 or CSL-1013. If inspection results are acceptable, remove nut and STD67357-1 Bushing. Position lever on throttle shaft. Install spacer with word KRJTSIDE facing outboard. Install nut and tighten to 65-85 inch pounds torque. Identify inspected conirol by applying a dot of blue dykem to end of throttle shaft.

Install STD67357-2 (Chamfered Shoulder) Bushing on throttle shaft. (See Figure 2.): NOTE: Most governors have throttle a with chamfered shafts. Should a governor be found with a straight shouldered shaft, use STD673fl-m Shoulder) Bushing. Reinstall nut and tighten to 150-166 inch pounds torque. . Should governor throttle shaft fracture, replace governor. 5. H inspection results are acceptable, remove nut and

Position lever on throttle shaft. Install spacer with wordOUTSIDE facing outboard. ~.Install nut and tighten to 65-85 jnch pounds torque. Identify inspected governor by applying a dot of blue dykem to end of throffle shaft.
