This source will be helpful because it is more of the educational part of the situation and one might not know it had anything to do with it. The main focus is just the big point of what occurred and it was unique how it was all explained briefly and created a good picture. I found it really interesting how it explains that after Title IX laws that not only athletics in that school are not being sexist but anything in general such as, education programs, financial aid, etc. This is great because it shows a connection not only to athletics but to other important things too. WHO CLAIMS THIS? The purpose of this is to show how Title IX started in the first place and this would be great because it would be historical context of what was occurring at the time. The reason this source is helpful is because it has quotes from people which makes it somewhat a primary source. This can be helpful because primary source quotes show what people really think at the time or after the time and can be connected really easily to an effect of Title IX.
