JK Mini-Camp & Institute:

There are only 2 weeks of Mini-Camp left! Don't miss out on this affordable way to explore the wonderful world of music. The Mini-Camp runs during the mornings from 9 a.m. - noon for 5-9 year olds. It involves small groups rotating between: intro to different instruments, musical arts & crafts, musical board games & musical computer games. There is a performance for the families at the end of each week! The Mini-Institute runs during the afternoons from 12:30 3:30 p.m. for 10-15 year olds. It involves: jammin' in ensembles, trying different instruments, music appreciation, theory & composition plus a contest for the best new original song! Both of these affordable & popular programs operate rain or shine. There are just 2 weekly (Mon. - Fri.) sessions left ending on August 17. Beginners & advanced students are both welcomed. The cost is only: $100 per week plus a $10 registration fee (per family). Every camper gets a JK baseball cap! GRAND RECITAL VIDEO:

JK is now selling videos from our recent Grand Recital. Individual seatings are only $10 each or a video of the entire recital is only $25. A big thank you Danny for editing! JK is sad to announce that our beloved piano teacher Margareth has decided to retire. We will miss her very much & wish her all the best in this next chapter!

Fiesta Performance:
You can't have a fiesta without music and the highlight of the recent Independent Business Expo & Fiesta at the Weston Town Center was the performance by "Kayey". This Latin Jazz band includes JK instructors Alex (sax & flute), Matt (guitar), Danny (keyboard), Gerald (bass) & Josh (drums).

Summer & Fall Schedule:

We are in week 8 of our 12 week Summer Session which ends on Sun. Sept. 2. Please remember that any & all make-ups must occur within the current Summer Session and are not carried over into the next Fall Session. We will reopen on Sundays beginning on Aug. 19. Since camp will be over, beginning on Mon. Aug. 20 lessons will again be available before 3:30 on weekdays. Please remember that there is a $5 re-scheduling fee for any & all lessons not occurring at their regular time. Please note that we require customers to email JK any summer travel

Danny has been a JK

voice & piano instructor since 2008. He enjoys music from contemporary to Broadway to Classical. Danny is a Florida native & has a degree in music from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Danny is the JK Events Manager. He also performs professionally with the Latin Jazz band "Kayey" along with JK instructors Alex, Matt & Gerald.

If you cannot maintain the 4 week commitment of the discounted monthly auto-payment program, might we suggest you switch to our alternate "pay as you go" plan for an additional $5 per lesson during the summer. Customers who participated in our Fall Deposit Program will be able to resume their lesson times beginning Mon. Sept. 3. Summer Session customers in those spots are kindly asked to find an alternative time should they wish to continue into the Fall Session. Our 16 week Fall Session begins on Mon. 9/3/12. We will only be closed on Thanksgiving Day Thurs. Nov. 22. Please note that effective with our new Fall session beginning Mon. 9/3/12 our lesson rates will be increasing to $30 for 1/2 hr lessons on autopay and to $35 for non-autopay. Customers who pre-paid their Fall deposits with our current lower prices will still have those first 2 lessons at the old reduced prices. JK instructors haven't had a raise in 7 years. We think its about time & they definitely deserve one!
