1. Minutes of the meeting on the Scheme for Promotion of Covergence with MGNREGS, held on 28-11-2012. 2. G.O.Ms.No.303, Finance (WA-I) Department, Dt.29-11-2012. 3. From the Commissioner, Tribal Welfare Department, Letter, Dt.15-12-2012. 4. From Social Welfare (TW-BUD) Dept., U.O.Note No.9423/TW-Bud-2/2012, Dt.27-12-2012. -O R D E R: In the meeting held on 28-11-2012 under the Chairmanship of Sri Ajoyendra Pyal, I.A.S., Special Chief Secretary to Government, I & CAD Department, it was decided to identify the roads improved under MGNREGS in Tribal areas and needs to be upgraded by way of black topping so as to create durable assets and further decided that upgradation could be taken up by R & B Department by meeting the expenditure out of the 100 crores provided for convergence scheme in R & B Budget. 2. Accordingly, the Commissioner, Tribal Welfare Department, vide his letter 3rd read above, has furnished a list of certain roads, out of which the following 2 works costing Rs.14.37 Crores in Warangal District were identified and placed before the Committee constituted vide G.O. 2nd read above and the works are approved by the Committee. Sl. No. 1. 2. Name of the Work Road from Mangapet (Village & Mandal) to Katapur (V of Thadavi Mandal via Komatpally of Mangapet Mandal Guduru to Dharmaraopet TOTAL Amount in crores 5.48 8.89 14.37

3. The Government after careful examination decided to take over the above said roads temporarily by R & B Department for upgradation so as to create durable assets and hand back to Tribal Welfare Department after upgradation. Accordingly, administrative sanction is hereby accorded for the above said 5 roads costing Rs.14.37 Crores (Rupees Fourteen Crores Thirty Seven Lakhs only). 4. The amount sanctioned in para 3 above shall be met from the head of account 5054-04- MH 800- GH11-SH(38)-530-531. 5. The Engineer-in-Chief (R&B), Rural Roads is requested to ensure no land acquisition is involved in the above works and also compliance of guidelines issued in G.O. 2nd read above. 6. The E-in-C (R&B), Rural Roads, Hyd., shall take necessary action accordingly.
