--------------------------------------- 1 ) Jessica: Hi, this is Jessica Ortner from thetappingsolution.com and your host fo r the Tapping World Summit.

In the last few days youve had the opportunity to see my brother Nick interview some really extraordinary people, and now I have the opportunity to interview someone thats very extraordinary. He is my own brother, Nick Ortner. Welcome, Nick. Nick: Jess, thanks for having me. Jessica: Thanks for having us in your home. Nick: Its my pleasure. Jessica: Its beautiful. Nick: Thank you. Jessica: We want to talk about tapping. We want to talk about the basics, and we really want to learn what we can expect from the summit and how we can use this tool to improve our lives. Lets start with the basics. What is tapping? Nick: I know a lot of people are new to this experience. A lot of have been with us for the past four years. But if youre new to tapping, in a nutshell I like to describ e it as a combination of ancient Chinese acupressure, thats the tapping, thats the physical tapping on the body, and the modern psychology, and thats the statements. Were tapping while saying certain statements. As you know, its this strange looking technique that I thought was weird the fir st time I saw it. I actually put it off for awhile. It was like this doesnt make any sense. I dont have an understanding of where its coming from. But I kept seeing person after person after person saying, This worked for me. On a whole variety of issues, and well cover some of those issues in todays talk. I got to the point where I said, Ive got to try it. Sure enough, about ten years ago I started going through the tapping process an d Id tap here looking at the directions. It takes a few minutes to figure out exact ly how to do it, but once you get the basics its so easy to learn and the results, a s we know, are just extraordinary. Jessica: Lets talk about those extraordinary results. What have you seen? Nick: The list is endless. I think part of the challenge that people face when t hey hear about tapping is, Okay, so I heard it works for pain relief and it works for weig ht loss and it works for this. There are so many things, but well cover a few of them. Page 1 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 2

) Pain relief, the first one I mentioned. Ive seen it work again and again in just really tremendous ways with pain relief. It startles me every time. When I work with clients or on stage and we bring someone up to tap on pain relief and their back pain goes away in five minutes, its like how is this possible. I even joke. You dont have to tell me its gone just because Im asking you to do the tapping if its not gone. But sure enough it is, and its not just those five minute results. In the film The Tapping Solution we document a couple of extraordinary cases. John with 30 years of chronic back pain, he did the tapping and woke up the second morning pain-free. Jessica: I couldnt believe it. Nick: I still cant believe it. Jody with fibromyalgia diagnosed having it for 15 years. Again, woke up. I dont know what was magical about the second morning. I guess it was the whole day of tapping. Got to sleep, the body relaxed, woke up pain-free for the first time in 15 years. Patricia who had fractured her elbow in a boating accident, massive pain, medications, the same stories as John and Jody, woke up pain-free. Whats really extraordinary is that has lasted. It was four years ago. Four years later that p ain is still gone for all of them. Thats just a handful of examples with pain relief. So we have pain relief. I mentioned weight loss. Again, its one of those things you go, why are we tapping on meridian points on our body to affect our weight? But what were really doing is were not tapping on its not like its a calorie burner. You burn a few calories by tapping, but not much. Were looking at the emotional issues behind whats going on. Were looking at the food cravings, tapping for food cravings to reduce that physical pull, and m ost importantly that emotional pull. Tapping for body image. How do I feel about myself? Tapping for limited beliefs, things that happened in the past that are holding us back. I know youve heard these stories again and again of people who had an experience when they were ten years old or seven years old or they were 50 and then someone said, You dont look good when youre skinny, or youre fat or youre this or youre that. They just took it into their body. They took it in their system and it dominated the rest of their lives. I remember hearing a story and working with a client who said, There was a point in my life where I was in really good shape and I was feeling so great. My sister said to me, Oh, youre always the skinny one. You get everything you want. Its so easy for you. Page 2 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 3 ) When she heard from her big sister this negative feedback, all of a sudden she decided for herself, and these arent always conscious decisions, they can be but

oftentimes theyre these subtle subconscious decisions, and she said, Its not safe to be healthy. Its not safe to be skinny. So weve done that to ourselves again and again. The same thing with finances and with limiting beliefs around money. The same question comes up, Why are we tapping on meridian points? To address money and finances. But its not like the tapping makes you make money. Its the tapping gets to the underlying limiting beliefs, traumas from childhood, the things that youre made of, the things that are holding you back. So the same kind of stories that you hear when you talk about finances. Someone once did a wonderful thing and they got some feedback where it didnt feel safe to stand out. I think youll see as a recurring theme throughout the summit that we talk often about safety. Its not something that we think about on a daily basis. Its like, what do you mean safety? But the underlying thing thats happening with our bodies, with our minds, is tha t when we dont feel safe for some reason, when theres a trauma, when theres a limiting belief, when theres something negative that happened in our past, when we have stress in our current situation or we create stress about the future, wh en all that happens our body doesnt feel safe. When it doesnt feel safe that tension builds up and we dont move forward. What were doing by doing the tapping is really realigning the body, mind and spirit to feel safe, to let go of those things from the past. Jessica: One of the things with tapping is that it works on so many things that its easy to be skeptical about it. We both were very skeptical about it. How is it that one modality can be used for so many different areas of your life? Nick: For a long time the discussion around how tapping works talked about the meridian system in the body. We are talking about tapping on these end points of the meridians, and the energy system in the body and the chakras. I personally believe that theres a lot to be said for that. But Im not somebody who sees chakras or meridians or energy system. So there was always a part of me that said give me the scientific stuff. Give me the Western stuff so we can prov e it. Page 3 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 4 ) The good news is that the last really five years the research has gone through the roof because theres been so much excitement and interest in tapping. With that flows the money into doing the research, which is really important. The research is showing that when were tapping on these meridian points in the body while focusing on a certain issue, were actually sending a signal to the

amygdala. Back it up for a second. We have the stress, the trauma, the limiting belief, the craving, the negative thought, whatever our target is. When we think of it we immediately bring it forward. Weve all had that experience. Jessica: You feel it in your body. Nick: You feel it in your body. If I asked you right now to think of something t hats stressful, everyone listening. So if I said think of something stressful and you thought about it, youd feel the tension in your body. So whats happening when that happens? When that happens, when that focus is going on, theres a low-grade fight or flight response. So whats a fight or flight response? Its that old ancient primitive part of our brain which was really helpf ul 10,000 years ago when the saber-toothed tiger was chasing us and we had to fight or fleet. Its, of course, still helpful today in situations where there is danger . The challenge that we face in most of our modern lives is that this fight or fl ight response is coming up because of these perceived dangers. The perceived external threat of what someone might say to you or your boss at work thats driving you crazy or the physical pain. Theyre real problems, but when we take those into our body and we hold on to them is when they all accumulate, and thats when you have that chronic stress that builds up, one thing after another. Jessica: Right, because were not fleeing. Nick: Thats a great point, because thats one of the main challenges that we face. Again, 10,000 years ago this was designed to do something with it. So if there was anger, if youre boss was driving you crazy and theres anger the response was to attack. Slap him. Punch him. Im sure most of us have wanted to do that at times. But thats not appropriate in our modern society. The opportunity here is to reprogram our response to actually be able to focus on the anger, on the sadness, on whatever issue, to do the tapping and to send that signal to the amygdala in the brain which then tells us were safe. Page 4 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 5 ) Until you experience it its one of those strange things. But when you do, when you have that first experience of tapping and you go, Okay, I just had an issue and I went through the tapping points and now something shifted here. Theres

something really different. Thats to me one of the most exciting things is how quickly it shifts. Jessica: Yes, thats what I love about tapping. Its something that you experience. So you dont need to over explain it. You just need to give everyone an experience. Lets do that. I want everyone to have an experience. Lets cover some of the basics. If were looking at clearing something in our lives, overcoming a challenge, how do we start with the tapping? Nick: There are a couple really basic steps. The first thing we have to identify is what were working on. What is the target for what were going to work on? This can be anything. This can be, again, we talked about cravings and pain in the body. The first step is always to identify the target. What is it that were working on ? We can work on so many things, as we talked about. Is it the financial stress? I s it anxiety about a particular issue? Is it a craving? Is it a physical pain in the body? Is it anger, anxiety? The list goes on and on, but we want to focus in. For the purpose of this demonstration were going to have what we call global focus, because I dont know what everybody out there is focused on. So were going to do a general tapping. When you do your own tapping the more specific that you get the better on your specific issue, but for now wince we have hundreds of thousands people working together were just going to be global. What Id like everybody to do is pick something in your body. You can actually close your eyes and take a deep breath, and Ill do it with you. Well all do it together. Get settled, take a deep breath and just feel into your body. Look for some physical pain. If its there you know what it is. If its not there look for some tension. A lot of us have it in our neck and our shoulders and our head. Look fo r some tension. Look for something that just doesnt feel right. Once you have it, I want you to give it a number on a 0 to 10 scale, 0 being theres nothing there so you wouldnt pick a 0, 10 being its the utmost pain, stress anxiety. If you cant get anything in your body then just choose an issue that youre stressed out about. I want you to be able to work on something. You want it to b e Page 5 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 6 )

a 5 or higher in an intensity scale. So 0 to 10, either a physical pain in your body or something that youre just stressed out about. Now once we have the issue, we have the number. If you have a pen and paper its great to write it down. To say, This headache, level 6, or number 7, whatever fits. Now we have the target and now were going to do the tapping. You ready? Jessica: Alright, Im ready. Nick: Youre going to follow after me? Jessica: Yes. Nick: Were going to start by tapping on the side of the hand. Its called the karat e chop point. You can use one hand. You can use the other hand. Either way, it doesnt matter. Some people even like to tap like this. Were going to do whats called the setup statement. This is where we focus on the issue, bring it to mind. Ill expla in a little bit about the setup statement after. So tapping on the side of the hand just repeat after me: SH: Even though I have this pain in my body, I deeply and completely accept myself. Even though I have this pain in my body, I deeply and completely accept myself. Even though I have this stress and pain in my body, I deeply and completely accept myself. Now were going to go through the points. Really briefly on that, what were doing is were saying, Even though, and were filling in the blank on whatever the issue is. I did pain in the body because thats what were working with now. If theres stress, if theres anxiety, Even though Im anxious about the test next week, even though Im anxious about my job interview, I deeply and completely accept myself. What are we doing? Were bringing it forward. Were acknowledging the problem, which is such a big step that a lot of people have a hard time doing. People like to be like, I dont want to talk about this. Page 6 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 7 ) Jessica: People have a big objection to that because they think, Why should I eve r accept something thats wrong? Shouldnt I fight through it? Shouldnt I push through?

Nick: Its a common response, and we try to push away the things that we dont like in our lives. But as Ive experienced again and again with tapping, and it goes even beyond tapping, the moment that we accept ourselves as we are is the moment we can change. Thats the moment where everything can shift. So Jess, theres so much power in just that statement, Even though Im anxious, I deeply and completely accept myself. Usually its, Even though Im anxious, Im an idiot, I hate myself, I cant believe Im anxious again, I cant believe Im doing this again. Jessica: Its the same pattern over and over again. Nick: Its the same pattern over and over again. But you can just feel into the en ergy, and really feel it. Take the time to go, Even though whatever my problem is, whatever my anger, my issue, my trauma, I deeply and completely accept myself. Its so powerful just from there. So we do the setup and now we go through the points. The first point is the eyebrow point, inside of the eyebrow, right where the hair ends and it meets the nose. You can use one hand, you can use the other hand or you can use both. The meridians run down both sides of the body, so it doesnt matter. Ive heard that if you use both it works better, but I havent found it yet. So its up to you. So inside of the eyebrow. We just repeat whats called the reminder phrase, which is just a little reminder about what were focused on. In this case we can just sa y, This Pain. Jessica: This pain. Nick: Now on the side of the eye, its not at the temple, its not at the eye, but r ight at the side of the eye, right on the bone where the face turns again. One hand, or the other hand or both, This pain. Jessica: This pain. Nick: Underneath the eye, right on the bone, one hand, other hand or both, This p ain. Jessica: This pain. Nick: Under the nose, This pain. Page 7 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 8 )

Jessica: This pain. Nick: Now the chin. Its that little crease in there, This pain. Jessica: This pain. Nick: We have three more points left. If you feel for the two little bones of th e collar bone, and you go down an inch and just out to each side about an inch. Just tap with both hands, This pain. Jessica: I like to use my whole hand because then I know that I got it. Nick: There you go. I use both hands like this, which tell you a lot of people w orry about getting things perfect, did I do it right. Theres a lot of flexibility in t his process. So, This pain in my body. Jessica: This pain in my body. Nick: Under the arm, three inches underneath the armpit, right on the bra line f or women. Again, one side or the other side, This pain in my body. Jessica: This pain in my body. Nick: Now top of the head, This pain in my body. Jessica: We take a deep breath, and let it go. Now we tune in. That was whats cal led one round. That was the most basics of rounds. Again, identify the target. Do the Even though statement. Do that three times and move through the points. Then level Were or an this. what we do 8. Has it tapping on old memory is we check in. What happened there? Lets say the shifted? Oh wow, its a level 5 now. Did something the pain in the body and all of a sudden stress at pops up. Thats a clue that theres somewhere else pain was a else come up? work pops up to go with

Jessica: I know youve addressed this in the past, but I think its worth asking aga in. Why are we saying negative things or why are we speaking the truth while were doing the tapping? Nick: I love the word the truth. We call it the negative statements, but I like to say its the truth. Jessica: Yeah, its how were feeling. Page 8 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 9

) Nick: Its how were feeling. People get really scared. Its like, I dont want to go there. I dont want to be negative. But were only acknowledging how were feeling for a short period of time in order to clear it. I think by speaking it and doing the tapping theres an ultimate release that happens there. You do the negative and you go through a couple of rounds until you feel that shift. Until you say, Somethings happened here and now I can do positive if I want to. You can tap and go, I choose to release this pain. My body is safe now. All is well. Jessica: But only once that feels congruent to you. Nick: Yeah. The difference is that if right from the beginning, if you are going through a trauma, if you have a memory, if you remember something happened to you when you were ten years old thats really upsetting, and I tell you go ahead and tap an d say all is well and I am loved, theres a part of you that will reject that and sa y, No, thats not the case, because that emotion is stuck in the body, that fight or flight mechanism is turned on and you just cant move forward. When we deactivate that, when we change the brains response, the limbic system response, the nervous response is then when we have the ability to say, Okay, I can say this now. Jessica: Right. I like to tell people complain youre complaining to your best fri end. A lot of people complain to their best friend anyway, so just do it while youre stimulating the points. Nick: In fact, if you are complaining to your best friend on the phone you can t ap while you do it. Jessica: Yes, exactly. Nick: Tap and talk. As youll learn throughout the summit, theres a lot of differen t ways to do the process, like tap and talk, theres the movie technique, theres other ways to approach it. The basics are so simple. Then to me the depth of it, the mastery is in going deeper. Its really peeling a n onion. You start with the issue, which was back pain or anger or anxiety. Then you see whats underneath it. We just did five minutes of tapping, but if you work with a private practitione r, for example, or join the Tapping World Summit calls, theyre 45 minutes to an hour where youre exploring the issue, talking about it and then doing tapping with it. Page 9 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 10 ) Jessica: What I love about tapping is its something that once you learn its a tool that you always have to support you and those around you. That being said, someone whos doing it by themselves they may be wondering is there any bad side effects, can I do it wrong, is there anything I should be careful of. Nick: I joke that I find the most dangerous part is poking yourself in the eye. But I have yet to do it in my ten years of tapping, so maybe dont drunk tap. No drunk tapping. My only caution would be is that if there are some deep seeded traumas, if ther es places and things that have happened that when you think about going there everything just tightens up, then thats perhaps something that you dont want to do on your own. You want to reach out to a qualified practitioner. Theres a lot of psychologists and psychiatrists who use tapping in their practic e, theres doctors, theres MDs who use it, theres coaches who use it. If something doesnt feel safe to go there, reach out to somebody who really knows what theyre doing. Jessica: Right. If someone is looking to target something, should they be tappin g just a few minutes a day or do they need to spend an hour or two hours? How do we begin to incorporate tapping into our lives? Nick: Certainly a little bit is better than nothing, so even just waking up in t he morning doing tapping it will energize you and release some of that stress. The most profound results that I see, and this is the fifth time weve done the Tapping World Summit, so I have a lot of evidence of what works. Heres what I find. We run the summit for ten days. Its ten days straight. Theres two presentations a day. Each of them is on different topics. The people that buckle down and say, Im going to focus and Im going to do the tapping, Theres incredible stories of people waking up early and going to sleep late, and just finding the time to do it are the ones that see tremendous results because they went for it all. Especially the ones that listen to the interviews and the presentations that they didnt think applied to them. Ive heard that again and again. You think, Im here for the summit for weight loss or to improve my finances or improve my relationship. Ill only listen to day six. But oftentimes its the other things. We know, our lives are so interrelated. Something thats affecting our relationship could be affecting our weight and how we feel about ourselves and our health. Our finances could be directly related to our health. Page 10 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 11 ) So everythings so together that oftentimes when you branch out and say, Im going to explore this, you find some new insights, especially if youve been hyper focused on an issue for so long and youve been looking at weight loss or looking at relationships. Sometimes a different perspective, almost like from a different field, can brin g in that insight that you need. So buckle down and spend those ten days, or if you cant do it those ten days obviously the audios are available at other times if yo u want to purchase them, and thats another way to go back and go deeper. Jessica: I suggest that when people listen to them they have a piece of paper, b ecause within the audio I know as the person whos doing the interview I keep having these aha moments where I want to jot them down and keep that with me to make sure I remember it. Whats exciting about the summit is that it is free. Its actually free for ten day s. Can you tell us more about that? Nick: Absolutely. Its like theres moving lines of free online. Like okay, whats rea lly free? I want to explain exactly how it works for people. This was our intent fro m the beginning. When we put this series together I said I want to deliver content that is just we know the tapping works in a huge way. Now lets deliver it in a way where people can get everything they can from it. So its a 45-minute to an hour presentation, theyre all varying lengths, where theres absolutely no pitching. Theres no other product to buy. Theres no other thing. Thats fine when that happens because I buy other products and Im a learner and a seeker and Im always looking for other things. But in this particular environment we said nothing but content for those ten days. Over that 24-hour period, so lets say its day one, two presentations come out, theyre available for 24 hours. If youre in Sweden, if youre in Australia its there for you at the time you need it. As soon as you show up, you press play and it starts for you. If you want to go deeper, if you want to share it with a friend, if you want to listen to them again and again, we talked about how much is in there, I find that I go back to some audios again and again and again, and its that fourth listen where a breakthrough happens, theyre available for purchase. When you purchase them it comes with some bonuses, a workbook and transcripts. Thats an option for people. Page 11 of 16

--------------------------------------- 12 ) But putting all that aside, to me whats most important about the summit is that every year for ten days literally hundreds of thousands of people focus their tension, their energy, their commitment to changing their lives and they just ge t incredible content. Jessica: What I love is the people who do participate are really supporting a gr eater community who might not be able to afford this type of information. One of my favorite stories was a boy in China who found it. Hes an only child. He was going through exams. He found the Tapping World Summit, and he was able to learn how to do the tapping and deal with the stress and anxiety that came during exams. He wrote us this beautiful email. So its those moments like that when you see how its spreading around the world and impacting so many different people. Nick: Its truly a global phenomenon. Its a pleasure to play a small part in it and get it out there. I have a belief that the tapping at some point will I think the first step is to have it be as well known as meditation and yoga, the practice that those w ho are into meditation and yoga, this fits right in, it slides right in. Theres also so much opportunity with first responders, with firemen, with policemen, with people who work in ambulances to deal with that initial trauma. In hospitals its being used. Im talking to MDs all the time who when they face an issue that they just cant handle with their existing resources, with the medication isnt working or whatever they do, all of a sudden they address the emotional side of things and things start changing, clicking. To me the skys the limit in whats possible here. The last couple of summits weve supported some really worthy causes like Project LIGHT in Rwanda working with genocide victims with PTSD. Weve supported the Veterans Project that is working with veterans from mostly Iraq and Afghanistan, but also some Vietnam veterans and from other wars, again, working with PTSD. PTSD is post traumatic stress disorder. Its trauma at the utmost level, supporti ng projects, helping women who are dealing with cancer and using the tapping, again, not to cure cancer or not to fix everything in your lives, but for emotio nal support, to relieve the stress in the body so the body can heal. Jessica: Like I said, once you know this technique you have it forever to use an ytime you feel like youre in a crisis and you need that support.

Page 12 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 13 ) Nick: Whatever happens, its there for you. Its also so fantastic for friends and f amily. Its like what a tool to be able to give to somebody and say, Hey, lets try this for the tough time youre going through. Jessica: For someone who is skeptical about this summit and everything that were doing, what would you say to them? Nick: Take five minutes and have an experience. Thats what I love about tapping. The commitment is literally, Okay, lets do some tapping. Did something shift? If something didnt shift for you then its not for you. Its unlikely. I would say if something didnt shift, narrow it down a little more, focus. Dont give up so quickly on it. There are certainly some refinements which you can learn during the summit. But it works and you can experience it for yourself . You can have it forever. Jessica: Nick, before we wrap up I want to get in some more tapping so everyone can tap along with us. Nick: Absolutely. Lets do this. We focused on a physical pain before. Lets get a r eal result now. Lets go even deeper. I want everyone to think about something in their life thats really stressing them out. Go ahead, you can close your eyes and take a deep breath. Just tune into that i ssue thats just like, Oh, there it is. The stress at work, a physical condition thats going on, some stress about money, whatever it is tune into it. Feel it in your body, too. Look for any tension in your body. How does it feel in your body? Is there a tightness in your stomach, in your throat? Then give it th at number, as always, on a 0 to 10 scale. Then also ask yourself, feel the stress and just go, Whats this really about? Im not going to be able to do the tapping for you specifically on what its about, bu t its helping you to hone in. Were going to do general tapping, but just try to get as specific as possible with whats going on. What the stress is. Whats it all about? Lets do some tapping. Again, tap on the side of the hand. Im going to do general language and just repeat after me. So, tapping on the side of the hand:

SH: Even though I have all this stress in my life About this particular issue, I deeply and completely accept myself. Page 13 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 14 ) Even though Im really stressed out about this, Im having a hard time letting it go, I choose to relax now. Even though Im having a hard time letting this go, And Im feeling stressed, I deeply and completely accept myself. Now through the points: EB: SE: UE: UN: CH: CB: UA: TH: EB: SE: UE: UN: CH: CB: UA: TH: All this stress. I cant let this go. All this stress in my body. All this stress in my life. Theres so much going on. And I cant let it go. All this stress. All this stress in my body. All this stress in my life. I wonder if I can let it go. I wonder if I could let part of it go. I wonder if its safe to let it go. I choose to let this go. I choose to figure out exactly whats going on And let it go. Letting this all go now.

Deep breath, and let it go. Now we tune back in. Obviously you probably feel ju st the relaxation that comes to the body. Jessica: Just in my shoulders, yeah. Nick: Its just the tension letting go. But beyond that, beyond that physical rela xation, its the mental relaxation. Its that cognitive shift that says I was feeling this w ay about something a minute ago and now Im feeling differently. Now I have new insights, or now I have new things to work on. That was just one round, one experience. You do more tapping and you go even deeper. Jessica: Were going to do a lot of tapping in the Tapping World Summit. What I lo ve so much about this technique is that I feel like its something where I can finally

allow myself to feel what Im feeling. Page 14 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 15 ) So often in the past before I learned this I was always trying to push positive thinking, and just always felt like I was fighting and I had this battle going o n. It ends the battle and it really just calms your body and your mind when your own self-insurance isnt working. Nick: I dont want people to get us wrong. We are all about positive thinking. Jessica: Yes, we are. Nick: Like 100%. Its so important. I think part of the challenge is that people h ave been scared to feel, because if you dont have a technique or a way to move through the feelings it doesnt feel good to feel them. Who wants to feel anxious? Instead of feeling anxious about something thats coming up we just bury it. We bury it down deep. You know when youre Burying stuff. Theres a big difference between feeling anxiety and doing the tapping or doing some other process and letting it go and just going, Im not going to feel this. Push it down. Which is why sometimes when people first start tapping, even just doing a round of tapping can bring up all these emotions and all these feelings, and theres nothing to be scared about because you have a tool to do the tapping to clear it up now. Jessica: That leads me to another question. What if someone begins doing the tap ping and they find that the number they had is going up? Nick: That just means youve ick with the tapping. It wont happen Certainly you might identify will only feel uncomfortable honed in on a deeper issue. So just stick with it. St for the most part. Most times it will go down. another issue and that can feel uncomfortable, but for a short period of time.

I think you would agree with me that when were doing the tapping the release happens so quickly that whatever discomfort is there is only there for so long. Sometimes its good to feel the emotions. If we bury anger, when we finally allow ourselves to feel that anger, and sometimes with tapping well do that, well tap and yell and rage and just really be in the emotion, it just feels so good to re lease it from the body.

Jessica: We can take it one step at a time. Were going at our own pace. Nick: Absolutely. This is a self-guided process, and to me thats just a beautiful part of it. Page 15 of 16 ) www.TheTappingSolution.com)

--------------------------------------- 16 ) Jessica: I am so excited for this Tapping World Summit. I look forward to it eve ry year. Nick: The fifth annual. It just keeps growing and growing and growing. Jessica: Can you believe it? Its been five years. I cant believe its been five year s. Nick: Five years, yeah. Jessica: What else should people know about the summit before we get started? Nick: I think weve covered it all. Theres great resources.
