Glossary of Terms in the My Evaluation section Scheduled Components: Events or forms that have been scheduled, but no action is required by educator or evaluator while in this section. Action Required: An action is required by the educator. Generally this is a schedule that needs to be accepted (for a pre-conference or an announced observation), a form that needs to be completed by the educator (pre-conference or self-reection), or a form that needs to be acknowledged (following an observation). In Progress: An action is required by the observer. Generally this is a form that needs to be submitted or nalized by the observer. No action is needed by the educator for items in this section. Complete: A form is complete. All actions by the observer and the educator have been acknowledged and nalized. Announced: Observation is scheduled with the educator. Announced observations include a Pre-Conference form (educator), an Observation form (observer) and Self-Reection form (educator). Unannounced: Observation is not scheduled with the educator. Unannounced observations include an Observation form (observer) and a Self-Reection form (educator).

Upon clicking each Accept Schedule, a calendar showing the date, time, location, duration and any applicable notes from the observer will appear. Click Submit to accept the schedule. This action will be done for each schedule: PreConference and Observation.
Complete the Pre-Conference form, entering information for all required elds. Required elds are indicated by red/white exclamation marks. Forms will not submit until all required elds are complete.
Once the Pre-Conference form is submitted to the observer, the educator will notice the form has moved from the Action Required section to the In Progress section. The form is available for the educator to view/print at this time, but not for additional edit.
Once the observer nalizes the Pre-Conference form, the form will move into the Complete section.
*Note: This may occur prior to the observation or at the conclusion of the post-conference.
When the scheduled date of the observation arrives, the observer will visit and conduct the observation.
Complete the Self-Reection form, lling out all required elds (clicking Save along the way). When the educator is ready to submit to the observer, click Submit.
Within 5 school days after the observation, the observer will conduct the post-conference with the educator. (The observer will contact the educator to arrange the date/time.) During the post-conference, the observer will discuss the lesson with the educator. Areas of renement and reinforcement will be addressed as well as specic feedback relating to growth and support measures for the educator. Before the post-conference is complete, the observer will submit the observation form (including information discussed in the post-conference relating to feedback and growth/ support) to the educator. The educator may now Acknowledge the observation. An educator may leave comments to be recorded on the form prior to acknowledging.
Once all elements are acknowledged, the observation component (and all elements) are complete and viewable in the Complete section.
Complete the Self-Reection form, lling out all required elds (clicking Save along the way). When the educator is ready to submit to the observer, click Submit. Required elds are indicated by red/white exclamation marks. Forms will not submit until all required elds are complete.
To acknowledge, click Acknowledge Observation. Scroll to the bottom of the form and click Acknowledge. To leave a comment, click Comment then Submit. The educator will be returned to the form to click Acknowledge. If no comments are needed, simply open the form and click Acknowledge.
Once all elements are acknowledged, the observation component (and all elements) are complete and viewable in the Complete section.
