BANNER OF LOVE

The First Church of Jesus Christ

From the Bishop
Volume 2, Issue 2 February 2013 Praise the Lord to Everyone This month has been a very busy month for us all. We have been fighting the devil here in Georgia. In my conversations with different ministers, I find that he is trying to wreck havoc on the church. The Bible says that he has come down having great wrath knowing that he hath but a short time to work. I believe he is trying to wear out the saints of God. I have never seen a time when people seem to just give up on living for God. They are saying I am tired of fighting. But as the battle heats up we need to draw closer to God for that is the only shelter we have in this storm. It is going to be a battle from here on until He comes back after a shingle from her roof. It His church. I would like to pays to live for God. Payencourage everyone to hang on to God and pray more than you have ever prayed. If you feel like you have come to the end of your rope, just tie a knot and hang on. Just get tied up, and tangled up in Him. If things are not going well for you, call me and I will help you pray that God will intervene on your behalf. God still answers prayer. We Live 7 miles from You are the Light of the World where the tornado hit and my son lives in Adairsville, day is coming but we can GA but it missed him by get the benefits now. Lord about 2 miles. He preached in 32 states, 3 foreign countries and pastored in 4 states. Ordained Bishop in 1965, Bishop Honea ordained 120 ministers and 32 surrendered to preach under his ministry. Bishop Honea pastored the Tullahoma Church for 46 years and founded the First Church of Jesus Christ Organization in 1965, and the Banner of Love in 1966. He will be remembered as a tenderhearted, loving and forgiving man of faith whose life passion was the Kingdom of God. We do well to follow his example.

Biblical Facts on Healing God's will is for us to expect to receive divine healing every time. We are commanded to heal all of the sick; we do not need a special "leading or unction." Every believer is already an "heir" of all the authority he needs to minister healing. All believers can minister healing effectively; some have specialized gifts of healing. God's desire is to heal all of our diseases just as He forgives all of our sins. Jesus never asked Father God to heal anyone, He commanded healing and deliverance. Jesus healed thousands at a time without requiring them to repent or believe first. Great faith is not necessary or the key to receiving divine healing from disease.

We desire not only to see believers live victoriously, but to help them become rooted and grounded enough in Gods Word to reach out and teach others these same principles

A Walk of FaithRegret Kills!

You are at the counter in the convenient store. The thought comes to buy a certain lottery ticket. You decide not to get it, the next person in line buys the very one you were going to get and wins a very large sum of money...... Now thats regret. In a few hours you get over it. But.... there are regrets in Life that is NOT so easily gotten over. What do you do? Live with it causing you to become paralyzed in the present, never getting over the past? NO!!!! We realize that the devil is stealing any Joy or Blessing the Good Lord would like to bring you in the present and future!!! We realize that the Joy and Goodness of the present are gifts from our Father in Heaven, so we CAN NOT give place to regret. We take our thoughts captive and speak Life into that regret and give Praise to the Blessing we have receive

The greatest need in the world today is not a change in Washington. It is a real and lasting change in the hearts and live of people. In this age of easy beliveism what the world needs most is the reality of Jesus Christ and the truth of the Gospel. True Biblical Christianity is Pentecostal, Apostolic and Oneness. The basic and fundamental doctrine of True Biblical Christianity is the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. ( John 3:5; Acts 2:38; Acts 2:4) The One True God We believe in the one everlasting, True God who has revealed Himself as the Father, through His Son in redemption, and through the Holy Ghost at work in the lives of believers. (I Co 8:6; Eph.4:6; II Co 5:19; Joel 2:28)
