Social Bookmarking Diigo.

com
What is social bookmarking? It is a fairly new concept in Internet
bookmarking that allows you to not only bookmark important sites for yourself, but to share your bookmarks and find out who is bookmarking sites for areas that may interest you. In this assignment, I will have you visit 8 different sites, bookmark, tag, and complete a task for each. . .but first lets get your account started and discuss Diigo!

Before you begin the assignment, you can watch some videos about the concept of how one would use this type of site http://www.diigo.com/learn_more/research While there are many ways one can use social bookmarking, we are simply going to use diigo.com to begin the concept of social bookmarking and to complete eight specific tasks.

Getting Started

Assuming your toolbar is successfully installed, I will talk about how to bookmark. When you are on a page that you want to bookmark website or page, you can simply use the tool in your newly installed toolbar!

Your Account
When you are on your account, it should look like this. Of course, you will not have anything in your library until you begin to use Diigo.

When you finish your assignment, there will be 8 bookmarks under your account. For each site bookmarked, there will be at least 3 tags (all sites/bookmarks will have the ed422 tag and at two other relevant tags.
