Dictatorship behind Democracy

Democracy is not mere a word in English language which signifies the political and social status of any state, but it symbolises the significance of an institution which is well planned, well managed and well governed by including the will of the people, generated by logical reasoning and legitimate thoughts, alongside the prevalence of the Law of Land. We the Indians, constitute, the so called worlds largest democracy with every individual having the right to showcase his or her point of view, in form of a vote, and contributing to form a governing body which can eventually come to terms to our betterment and goodwill. Well..well..well, suddenly it appears as if this is a huge responsibility on our shoulders, which we have not been realising to a complete extent and the reason for the same lies in the amount of betterment we receive after we elect a government of our choice. This is a fact which is public in its totality, whether you take urban or rural demography, everyone is aware of this fact, but seldom being addressed, why?? A lot of effort has been put in as of now by a lot of visionaries to answer this why, but the situation is rather getting gruesome. Even after so much effort to enlighten all the sections of our society this basic question is still left unanswered. After more than 65 years of severe discussions and conferences the factors which have been mainly arrived at and are responsible for the deterioration, are pretty common and very less in number viz. The politics has been captured or individual dont accept their responsibility or we have to change ourselves first and then think of changing the society etc.. etc. We are very well aware that such revolutionary views have been surfacing since we were not an independent state, and they are very much in the picture even when we are living a free and safe life in independent India. A lot of wise men have raised a question many a times in front of us that Are we independent now than before..? or British-Raj was better than the Indians-Raj and many more without having much of the impact on individuals and our society as a whole. Dont you once feel, despite so much effort to strengthen our souls, we have been succumbing to the daemon articulately phrased as the need of the hour to change and forgetting the unchanged!!! What is this unchanged I am talking about..? As we believe in the theory that change is inevitable, it moves ahead with time, and time stops for none. This is a Universal Truth which I also believe in. But I feel a little confused in understanding the practicality of this theory. There are some questions which arise in my mind are As the time has its own pace and that pace is fixed, so by moving so much faster are we trying to move ahead of time..?. If yes...then why!!!And how..? I sometimes feel suffocated, sometimes because I dont go into that philosophical crap all the time which makes me feel a little negative of the circumstances and system I am living in. Everything lies in a systematic way as per the system, the more you work hard the more you will get and the more you will enjoy. Thats really true and this is the way it should be, and this is being followed in every society too, then what is the problem with me. Am I insane? I might be, so let me give a try and prove myself an insane.

I personally feel that we are living in a Gas Chamber which is surely not meant for holocaust, but to keep us alive, to the extent, that we perform the duties we are asked to and live a life which has already been decided. I feel so because there is very little, that too insignificant, which I can decide for my life. In childhood my parents had a tough time getting me admitted to a good school because good schools were not enough as compared to the demand, so I was admitted to an average school of the locality. Had it been a Literacy Revolution as well with Industrial Revolution, my admission would have been much smoother, and a good platform would have been laid for grooming an educated and sensitive society. My parents were helpless and so will I be as a parent because the gap of demand and supply is even getting wider and deeper. So now the question arises am I insane..? At the time of Industrial revolution we were trying to run faster than time, by just trying to get employment and feed ourselves. By doing the normal we would have given ourselves time to ponder whether we wanted to be a technically and literally equipped workman or just a lame worker, and consequently we could have raised our voice collectively and consistently to achieve the due.
