Summary
Around 5 years of experience as Senior Telecom Engineer at rollout turnkey project of new Operator, sound knowledge of GSM/GPRS RF Optimization, vendor knowledge of HUAWEI (2G,3G & WIMAX).Good hands on Experience of NOC Tools like M2000,U2000,N2000,I2000, Excellent ability to plan and execute complex projects and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Jan 10 to Date: Position: Department: HAYAT NOC Engineer WIMAX

Description: Working as a NOC Engineer (Nawras), 1st largest GSM & WiMax service provider in Oman, involved in operations and maintenance from NOC platform of Huawei and Ericsson. Responsibilities: Co-ordination with DT Engineers, solving the problems occurred during the DT. Performing Network Drive test using ERICSON TEMS Investigation Tool and analyzing Drive Test problem for the whole network. Vendor management and coordination to resolve access, space, power and tower loading issues Manage field activities, prepare daily network reports and presentations for higher management. Commissioning & troubleshooting of Huawei WiMax BTS3900. Downloading software in BTS from local End on the time of commissioning. Worked on M2000 (Huawei NMS software for BTS). Worked on N2000 (Huawei NMS software for IGW and SS). Worked on I2000 (Huawei NMS software for AAA). Worked on U2000 (Huawei NMS software for Transmission Backbone & IP-MPLS ) Involved in Monitoring, Rectification & troubleshooting of Alarm & Network faults. Along with this weekly meetings & strong coordination with customer regarding Network operations and Pre & Post Activity planning & Issues etc. Troubleshooting on WiMax BTS site from NOC. Troubleshooting on ASN-GW from NOC.

Alarm Management Process:

Detect alarms and events from the managed network. Make sense of these and understand the impact to the services delivered to the Customers and performance of the networks. Determine appropriate actions that needs to be taken to deal with the impacts Provide data to support operational reporting, maintenance management and quality Improvements activities.

Performance Management Process:

Collect and report data on the performance of networks and services Identify trends that might degrade quality of service early and initiate corrective actions Support network planning and quality improvement activities.

Trouble Ticketing Process: Manage incidents and the incident resolution workflow Restore normal service as quickly as possible (focus is service restoration and not network repairs. Permanent repair is the responsibility of the maintenance and quality management processes) Meet SLA commitments (resolve incidents within committed SLA timeframes) Support service and network operations operational reporting activities.

LCC OMCR Engineer RF

Description: I worked as RF OMCR Engineer on HUAWEI-PTML-UFONE SWAP GSM Project South Pakistan

Responsibilities: Optimization GSM/GPRS 900/1800

Optimization of cell by improving their KPIs such as DCR, CSSR, TCH Blocking, SDCCH blocking rate, HSR and identification of hardware problems.

Performing Network Drive test using ERICSON TEMS Investigation Tool and analyzing Drive Test problem for the whole network. GPRS parameter tuning of whole south region. Co-ordination with DT Engineers, solving the problems occurred during the DT. Worked on Concentric parameter settings to balance the traffic between 900 and 1800 layer in the network Traffic dimensioning with Optimal use of Half rate Doing Cluster Optimization changing parameters to improve the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Constant Monitoring of Traffic trend, routinely creating traffic measurement reports and responsible for proper resource distribution. Performing Site Neighbors audit, LAC audit and definitions to Optimize HSR degradation. Involved in BSC / MSC cutover activities & validation through Drive Testing and OMC Database. Maintains Statistic software like Huawei PRS, Word Report, IManager 2000 for Reporting formats and Formula building.

HUAWEI TECHNOLOGIES
Jun 06 to Jun 09: Position: Department: Huawei Technologies Pakistan Wireless Engineer Transmission

Description: I worked as Wireless Engineer on HUAWEI-PTML-UFONE GSM Project South Pakistan Worked on HUAWEI RTN Series MW link. Worked on HUAWEI New Product for Microwave RTN Series (RTN 610 &RTN 620) in Quetta and Hyderabad Region for Phase VI. Worked on NEC Microwave links for Phase V. Troubleshooting and maintenance of NEC Microwave equipment. Establishing Microwave links PDH & SDH (protected, un-protected, frequency diversity, STM, X-pic). Testing of End to End media (from BSC to BTS). Hand on experience of Paso link, Paso link+ and PNMT software. Hand on experience of installation and configuration of NEC C-Node (MUX). Hardware Installation Supervision, Commissioning, Maintenance and trouble shooting of NECs microwave equipment installed at Mobilink GSM sites including: 4E1 (1+0) and 4E1 (1+1) radio equipment with SB1 microwave antennae. 16E1 (1+0) and 16(1+1) radio equipment with SB2, SB3, SB4, SUX3 and SUX4. 40E1 (1+0) and 40E1 (1+1) radio equipment with SB3, SB4, SUX3 and SUX4 MW. Perform installation of NMS (connectivity of our all NEC Microwave). Hand on experience of T2000 and WLCT software. Worked on Site Maintenance Terminal system (BTS local end software). Downloading software in BTS from local End on the time of commissioning. Performed the Rehoming activities of sites. Integrating BTS sites on BSC`s (BTS3012 & BTS3012AE).

Involved in BSC cutover activities. Installing, commissioning and troubleshooting of Huawei BTS3012, BTS3900, and BTS3012AE & BTS3900A. Measuring VSWR, Swap testing of Antenna/Feeder & Power tests of BTS through Site Master.. Installation & verification of External alarms in Nortel sites and Huawei ODU & IDU sites. Troubleshooting of alarms in BTS sites. Supervised BSCs cutover activities.
