Verily all praise is for Allaah, we praise Him and seek His aid and ask for His

forgiveness, and we seek refuge with Allaah from the evils of ourselves and our
evil actions. Whomever Allaah guides there is none who can misguide him, and
whomever Allaah misguides there is none who can guide him, and I bear witness that
none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah Alone, having no partner, and I
bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger.

O you who believe! Fear Allaah as He should be feared, and die not except in a
state of Islaam. [Soorat-ul-Aal-i-'Imraan ayah 102]

O mankind! Reverence your Guardian-Lord, Who created you from a single person,
created, of like nature his mate, and from them twain scattered countless men and
women; reverence Allaah, through Whom you demand your mutual (rights) and
(reverence) the wombs (that bore you): for Allaah ever watches over you.
[Sooratun- Nisaa' ayah 1]

O you who believe! FearAllaah, and (always) say a word did to the right that He
may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: He that obeys
Allaah and His Messenger, has already attained the highest achievement. [Soorat-
ul-Ahzaab ayaat 70-71]

Verily the most truthful speech is the Word of Allaah and the best guidance is the
guidance of Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam), and the worst of affairs are
the novelties and every novelty is an innovation and every innovation is a going
astray and every going astray is in the Fire.

‫‪Sermão da Necessidade‬‬

‫‪Em verdade todo o louvor é para Allāh. Nós O louvamos, buscamos sua ajuda‬‬ ‫‪e seu‬‬
‫‪perdão. Buscamos refúgio em Allāh dos males de nossas próprias almas e de‬‬ ‫‪nossas‬‬
‫‪más ações. Para aquele que Allāh guia não há quem possa desviá-lo, e para‬‬ ‫‪aquele‬‬
‫‪que Ele desvia não há quem possa guiá-lo. Testemunho que não há divindade‬‬ ‫‪digna de‬‬
‫‪adoração além de Allāh, somente, sem parceiros, e testemunho que Muhammad‬‬ ‫‪é Seu‬‬
‫‪servo e mensageiro.‬‬
Ó vós que credes! Temei Allāh (i.e., obedecei-O, fazendo tudo que Ele ordenou e se
abstendo de tudo que Ele proibiu) como Ele deve ser temido e não morreis senão
como muçulmanos.*

Ó humanos! Temei vosso Senhor Que vos criou de um único ser e dele criou sua
esposa, e de ambos criou muitos homens e mulheres. E temei Allāh pelo Qual
demandais vossos (direitos) mútuos e (não rompei as relações dos) úteros (i.e.,
laços familiares). Certamente Allāh é vosso Observador.**

Ó vós que credes! Temei Allāh e dizei a verdade. Ele vos orientará às boas ações e
perdoará vossos pecados. E todo aquele que obedece Allāh e Seu Mensageiro de fato
alcançou um magnífico sucesso.***

Quanto ao que segue: Então, de fato, a melhor das palavras é a Palavra de Allāh e
a melhor das orientações é a orientação de Muhammad (sallAllāhu ‘alayhi wa
sallam); e os piores dos assuntos são aqueles inventados (no Dīn); e todo assunto
inventado é uma bid‘ah, e toda bid‘ah é um desvio, e todo desvio está no Fogo (do
Inferno).
