When God is number one on our spiritual, social, and financial agenda, He has pledged to open the windows of heaven and pour out copious showers of blessings upon us. Thats the way love is. As Jesus gave up all for our redemption, we must be willing to offer all of ourselves unto God! This includes out time, talents, and treasures. 3. What do you think God intends by the following command?
Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. Proverbs 3:9-10

4. The firstfruits of our time is that portion of the week that God has specially reserved: Exodus 20:8-11

Meditate on these texts: Psalm 24:1; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 1 Corinthians 4:2; Luke 12:42; 14:33 SOME SERIOUS QUESTIONS: Do you admit that God is the owner of all things? __________ Since a steward is one who is in charge of someone elses possessions, do you admit that you are a steward in terms of your resources time, talents, and treasures? __________ Do you admit that you are responsible to be a trustworthy and faithful steward? __________ Do you believe that your faithfulness will be rewarded? __________ Are you willing to submit your resources to Christs Lordship? __________ 9. Are you willing to support the work of our church, so that others can experience the life transformation God has graciously given to you? ___________ 10. In practical terms, how will you support the church with your resources?
