mejores caractersticas y flexibilidad de una PC y la confiabilidad de un controlador lgico programable (PLC) orientada hacia el control y monitoreo de procesos industriales, por lo cual el sistema est constituido de dos partes Software y Hardware

El software para el desarrollo de programas de adquisicin de datos control y monitoreo, se realizar sobre Labview 8.5 (o superior) de National Instruments bajo los sistemas operativos Windows XP, Windows vista, Mac, Linux.

LabView es un lenguaje idneo para aplicaciones industriales, como el monitoreo de temperaturas, velocidades, la automatizacin de procesos, control de motores y robots, permite al usuario disear el programa, para que sea capaz de administrar, procesar y ejecutar todas las instrucciones que contenga un programa solicitando la lectura o escritura de datos.

Por esta razn el sistema cuenta con una librera que instala tres nuevos subvis en la paleta de funciones que permiten realizar adquisicin y el control de datos y cuenta con un controlador USB para la comunicacin por el puerto USB a una velocidad de 1.5Mb/s.

Al hardware se lo ha denominado TAC-USB (tarjeta de adquisicin de datos y control) que es insertable a travs del puerto USB y permiten la entrada y salida de datos del ordenador a otros aparatos, donde se conectan sensores y actuadores, para interactuar con el mundo real. Los datos que entran y salen pueden ser seales digitales o anlogas, o simplemente conteos de ocurrencias digitales, tanto de entrada, como de salida para

luego ser presentado el resultado en la pantalla del computador en forma grfica y numrica. Dando como resultado la informacin de tal forma que cualquier persona pueda interpretar fcilmente.
