For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knowest not the time of thy visitation." (Luke 19:41-44) We all desire to be at an advantage position in life. This is good but to attain it, we must understand the spiritual process and employ tools available to us. One of such very effective tools is prayer. Prayer is very powerful and can bring about the change you desire. However, a direct and constant fellowship with God is required. We must learn to pray without ceasing. Positioning oneself rightly is a conscious act done as we kneel in prayer communicating with God. God also communicates back to us. As this relationship grows and remains constant, we begin to discover our place in Him. We become aware! This level of awareness marks a new dawn as God has unrestricted access to our lives. Yielding completely to Him through prayer always creates a more intimate relationship with God. And

in spite of our many expectations, we must rejoice and offer up praise to Him. Whether we stand before God seeking that He interferes in things of personal concern or we intercede for others, prayer opens us up to the Holy Spirit. Thereafter, revelations flood in. Whenever and wherever prayer is a culture amongst people, strange and wonderful things happen. The people who pray are constantly filled with the Spirit. The Spirit of God also works in their subconscious helping them to remain within the plan of God for their lives. He begins to speak and to regulate what you do. He nudges you where need be and tells you what specific action(s) you ought to take. The church is a supernatural entity whose activities should be governed by the Spirit of God. People must be able to flow and function in the Spirit because that is essentially what the church is all about. When the Holy Ghost from the point of prayer takes charge of your mind, He renews your mind and regulates everything you do. The result is that here on earth, you find yourself rightly positioned within His plan for you-at an advantage!

Only Jesus
Only Jesus can make a sad heart glad the only one who can give the best joy you ever had He fills the hungry heart to satisfied and full the only one who can redeem the sinful soul Only Jesus can wash our sins away the only one who can turn the night into day He will always say "I forgive you" the only one who can change a heart to make it new Only Jesus can comfort you when you need a friend the only one who stays with you to the end He is always on duty caring for his sheep the only one who loves so tenderly and deep Only Jesus can heal a broken heart the only one who shares our sorrows and takes a part He is the saviour who knows our deepest woes the only one who gives victory over all our foes Only Jesus can dry away our tears the only one who calms all our fears He is always there to strengthen in times of need the only one to follow as he does guide and lead Only Jesus can see the lonesome heart and void the only one who can fill it to overjoyed He is always there to hear our pleadings and request the only one who gives perfect peace and rest Cindy Wyatt

Battling Salons A new hair salon opened up for business right across the street from the old established hair cutters' place. They put up a big bold sign which read: "WE GIVE SEVEN DOLLAR HAIR CUTS!" Not to be outdone, the old Master Barber put up his own sign: "WE FIX SEVEN DOLLAR HAIR CUTS". Rejected Invitation Mrs. Jones was reading a letter at breakfast. Suddenly she looked up suspiciously at her husband. "Henry," she said, "I've just received a letter from mother saying she isn't accepting our invitation to come and stay, as we do not appear to want her. What does she mean by that? I told you to write and say that she was to come at her own convenience. You did write, didn't you?" "Er, yes, I did," said the husband. "But I couldn't spell convenience, so I made it risk.

C3 PREMARITAL COUNSELLING
If you are a member of Covenant Christian Centre and you intend to get married soon. Please Note: For couples who desire to wed at Covenant Christian Centre, proposed wedding dates can only be booked at the church office after the completion of C3 Pre Marital Counselling. Dates cannot be earlier than 2months after classes are concluded.

C3 POST MARITAL COUNSELLING

This is designed for already married couples who have never been through premarital counselling or simply desire to go through the classes which are focused at building a Godly Marriage.
