The constant increase of traffic and the over-development of vast areas of it, are a threat to biodiversity. (c) Health. Air pollution, noise, chemicals, extreme weather situations, and electromagnetic radiation are potential dangers to human health. (d) Innovation. New technologies can be a chance and a risk to the environmental situation. (e) Overarching environmental policy or lack thereof. Are there coordinated management of environmental and natural resources? 1. Show the video clip of the movie inconvenient truth and ask following questions: a. Many scientists suggest that there is human-induced climate change. How is climate change affecting Malaysia?" (((In general, ask productive questions, that is, questions that require elaborate answers and cannot be replied to with yes/no.))) b. What makes you to think that climate change is happening/not happening? c. Can you explain the changes that are experienced due to climate change? d. What are the implications of climate change for Malaysians, their community, their home, professions of their parents, extended family, people they know e. Do you think individual actions can contribute to reduce the climate changes that are experienced by the people? f. If yeswhat type of actions people should perform? If no.how/who should be responsible to reduce the climate change?

2. What is biodiversity? a. What are the threats to the biodiversity in Malaysia? (expected answers from the students is increase of traffic and uncontrolled development) b. Can you explain/ provide an example of the threat. c. Do you think it is important to conserve/protect/maintain the biodiversity? d. What is your contribution in conserving the biodiversity? e. Do you think new policy/rules need to be established in preserving the biodiversity?

3. Show a graph/diagram/YouTube related to the diseases impacting human and severity of this situation in future a. What do you think is the cause/s for this situation? b. Can you explain how the above mentioned cause leads to the diseases? c. Can provide a specific example? d. How can this be justified? e. How do you think we can overcome/reduce the occurring of this disease? f. How do you think we should change our life style to reduce the occurring of the diseases?
