The phrase Spiritual Warfare is often kicked around Christian circles as an explanation for life not going as planned

or for meeting with objections. Invisible forces set themselves against you, by operating in and through human agents and other day to day situations. Throughout my life I have encountered fearful, ignorant, prideful as well as racist Christian pastors as well as their advocates. Spiritual warfare has been a very real aspect of my life. Pastors influence the lives of hundreds, thousands, and even millions of men, women and children. The flocks of these pastors are comprised of people who admire and often try to emulate their church leader's godly mannerism. The church membership can not appreciate the fact that pastors are often men and women who are professionally trained in religion and business. Religion continues to be a very successful billion dollar industry because charismatic ear ticklers are skilled at stirring our emotions, they are able to capitalize on our fears, our ignorance and our personal pride. Sincere church patrons sacrifice understanding the truth in favor of feelings of acceptance, self-righteousness and assumed holiness, attending a pep rally and calling that fellowship. Church leaders, with an elementary understanding of biblical teaching and ill-equipped to question their religious training, indoctrinate church supporters who are often simply more confused and insecure than themselves. The confusion results in religious confrontations that are instigated by immature people who are seeking to be more righteous than their fellow man, to covet bragging rights within their religious circle, or to influence the favor of their god. Subsequently Christians are harsh, judgmental, and loveless toward anyone that is considered an outsider. Regarding laws, marriage, sexuality, race and socially acceptable morals and values, men and women today fail to appreciate how much biblical understanding continues to influence the life of Western society. The manipulation of the biblical text and the resulting turmoil has also generated a never ending cash cow. From wars between nations, to societal disruptions and family divisions, the Church's false profits continue in the traditions of their forefathers. Divide and conquer tactics not only weaken the masses, thereby strengthening religious leadership, but financial support pours in to fill the coffers of supposed pious benefactors. By indoctrinating the masses with confusion these deceived although sincere individuals ensure that their customer base will return weekly for another morsel of truth. The simple sheep form small cliques to attack and slander their fellow sheep and the lost yet all come together to support the wolves. This sort of mentality is also seen outside of the church in the public and social sectors, it interesting in this case to ponder who is following who's example. Looking at the many faces of what people consider Christianity, I can only conclude that the spirit of the Church is not the Spirit of the God of the bible. Just as Adam, in the Garden of Eden, ate from the forbidden tree of knowledge of good and evil and did in fact die that very day, the Church in like fashion has long ago separated itself from God and is spiritually dead. Yet still The Church continues to exist and thrive with the best sales pitch in the corporate world. The fear of going to hell, or of displeasing God enslaves ardent church supporters and eliminates serious biblical inquiries. The marketing of fear coupled with the prospect of eternal heavenly rewards for those who exert zealous Christian behavior and unquestioning loyalty, insures the Church's strangle hold upon the hearts and souls of men, women and children. Church leadership dodges responsibility and blames the church attendees for being weak in faith and/or for spiritual immaturity, as explanations for the agitation that church advocates experience or for the doubts that they may have. Even with it's man made alterations, I continue to see the subtle and incorruptible patterns and truth of the bible. I appreciate the consistency of the biblical message in history and in modern times. I know the impact that the Word has had in nations, in peoples and in my personal life. I continue to learn and

to mature in understanding biblical passages. I believe that every man, woman and child deserves to know the truth, but that no one has the right to cram it down their throat. God is more than capable in deciding who is a sinner and who is destined for hell, without our say so. I have been ignored, laughed at, and threatened by church pastors yet not one has ever used the bible to correct my understanding. I have even been told by a pastor Maurice, your conclusions may be biblically sound, but I like what I believe. The Truth and Spirit of the bible has and will continue to endure... The Church Is Dead. Thank you, Maurice Louishomme Post-Script: Please feel free to share, link, post, blog, copy, cut and paste, or like etc. this letter in it's entirety.
