Job Summary:

The Data Coordinator is responsible for gathering comprehensive data points from vendors to enter into re:fuel’s proprietary database. They interface with individual vendors to obtain relevant information specific to each media property and enter the data in re:fuel’s database to be utilized by re:fuel employees and clientele.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities:

Contact and gather vendor information

o

Gather all aspects of vendor’s mechanical, rate, distribution and demographic information

o

Liaise with advertising manager to determine additional information on a case-by-case basis

o

Appropriately document and store all follow-up information provided over telephone and email, as well as other assumptions

o

Properly title and store vendor information in appropriate locations

o

Update project management tracker

Enter vendor data into re:fuel’s proprietary database

o

Compile, sort and verify the accuracy and completeness of data before it is entered

o

Enter data into database following standard re:fuel procedures

o

Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisor

o

Maintain log of activities and completed work

o

Store completed reference documents in appropriate locations

Research

o

Research supportive data for client proposals

o

Research media entities to potentially include into re:fuel’s media offerings

o

Conduct market research using the phone, Internet, industry books, libraries, etc

Filing, faxing, email, general office duties.

Other job related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution preferred in Business or relevant job experience

1 to 2 years of office work experience preferred in related field.

Ability to utilize different problem solving methods to gather information

Ability to stay organized and manage multiple data streams at once

Ability to learn codes and abbreviations for proprietary database

Ability to handle multiple priorities, problem solve, and work independently

Experience contacting organizations over the telephone to gain information; resourcefulness and persistence to obtain information when it is not easily available

Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and computer skills.

Internet proficient and capable of learning proprietary databases

Demonstrated team player, with strong collaboration and conflict resolution skills

Job Requirements:

The applicant selected for this position may be required to successfully complete a background check. Passing results must be received prior to start date in new position

Physical Requirements:

Frequent computer terminal/keyboard use

Sit, bend, and squat as needed

Reach above shoulder level

Ability to lift 30 lbs.
