NARRATION: The magnetic force field of this magnet can be observed by placing the magnet on a flat service and sprinkling some iron filings on a paper plate over it. The iron filings on the paper plate will arrange themselves along the magnets lines of force. Notice that the force field is stronger at the poles than at the middle of the magnet.

*During slides 13-17 I will use the pictures from slides 3-7. The pictures in the previous slides were to get the students attention and to start them thinking . Now I am going to explain what is going on in each picture. PAGE: 7 DATE: 02/25/2009 PROJECT NAME: WHAT CAN A MAGNET AUTHOR: DAFANEY WHITE PULL THROUGH?
