Network Engineer (Level 1- Support Role)

Network Engineer (L1 Support roles) for 12 month (ongoing) contract. Knowledge/Skills Required Good knowledge with infrastructure environments (e.g. operating system, hardware, data center, security, network, voice, end user and server / web related applications). Good knowledge with business Information Technology (IT) applications (e.g. supply chain, customer relationship mgmt, Human Resources (HR), finance). Experience in operational and implementing converged networks which should include the following: IP, ATM, Frame Relay, Gigabit Ethernet, VoIP, and Wireless-based technology. Good working attitude and be willing to learn new technologies. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a systematic and logical manner. Maintain good communications with all relevant parties throughout troubleshooting process. Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks, problems and requests. Ability to collaborate and cooperate with other members of team, and members of other teams. Ability to identify problems and issues (technical, process, people) encountered and highlight to team leads and managers. Must be fluent in the English language at an acceptable level with proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills. Must be a Service and Customer oriented team player. Flexible, self motivated with the ability to work under pressure in an International and culturally diverse organization. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision if necessary. Travel to customer sites within Singapore is required. Willing to be on standby or perform off-hours tasks if required. Singaporean or PR's who are cleared for Cat2B security clearance. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or related field with 1-3 years working experience. Possess CCNA or CCNP certification is advantageous. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
