Senior Development Database Administrator, Demand Creation System IT (05/2000 to 02/2005) --Oracle DBA for development groups supporting Oracle Applications 11.5.9 for Configurator, NetGenesis, i2 StoreFront, InterWoven and other third party applications. Implemented and tested database changes for application releases ensuring the production release was stable and predictable. Resolved numerous database performance issues using STATSPACK. Executed transition from weekly to daily partitioning of tables for 500Gb NetGenesis click-stream databases. Transition allowed use of vendor support scripts reducing support costs. Installed and supported MySQL databases. Converted Sybase databases to Oracle reducing support complexity for applications. Designed and implemented standard processes to document, export, gather and purge performance data for all supported databases without needing any additional resources.
