The Words disappear. FADE TO: EXT. OUTER SPACE - TIME IN-FLUX LEGEND: 3 YEARS AGO... Beautiful stars, Trillions of light-years apart, yet so close together. Its a sight only to be described as romantic. Breaking the hypnotic view, A large metallic Silver ship, styled in a futuristic blackbird jet design. Regal in appearance, tough in demeanor. Surrounding him are touch screen appliances to the ship, the controls set in front of him, a line of energy extends from the ring to the controls, ABIN sits comfortably in the Pilots chair. Around the Edges of the brim read "2814" In front of the ships two inhabitants, A Green Hologram, A Figure tall and slender, the muscular physique of a swimmer, with lighter red skin and a pencil thin jet Black mustache and hair a with a widows peak, about 40s (Earth Years) THAAL SINESTRO. On him an outfit, both like and unlike Abins, Rich in Blacks, Whites, and Greens, attached to his left ring finger is a Very different looking Green Lantern Ring, this has two strips of Green connecting to the famous insignia, with a central gold wedding ring. SINESTRO Why Earth? It is a primeval ball of filth and disease. ABIN According to the prophecy the key to saving the Universe during the War of Light is on Earth. It is the Birthplace of the Black, and the White, the Headmasters of the emotional spectrum. It is said that on Earth there will come a warrior who will stop be uncorrupted by the anti-light. SINESTRO What do you plan to do once you find this warrior? Train him. Make him one of us? ABIN Yes. If the prophecy is true we must train this warrior early on. The Beams grow not into separate trails, but one thick beam of light encircling the Object. The Dark Shape reveal to be a familiar symbol shrouded in black partially obscured by the dark... No longer cutting at it the GREEN light begins filling the DARK object, a blast of green fills with light... The object is being filled with the heavy blast of GREEN LIGHT! (CONTINUED)

SPACE Beautiful stars and galaxies sit tight together. The blackness of space overwhelming. PAN: AWAY FROM THE STARS DOWNWARD TO A VIBRANT PLANET, ALMOST MYTHIC WITH FEELING TO IT. ENCOMPASSED AROUND IT, SEVERAL GREEN RINGS FORMING A CRUDE "LANTERN" PROJECTED FROM THE SIDES OF THE PLANET. Building onto this image, growing closer. PAZU And that fear grew until Abin Sur was consumed. His fear manifested into a false prophecy in a war... The War of Light! So he took Atrocitus to find the source, the being that will Be the key to stopping or causing that war. Abin Sur in a ship with Atrocitus. Atrocitus in a cell, breaks free and attacks Abin Sur. Atrocitus watch the area. Growling. His eyes speak anger, he lays his head back into the air. ATROCITUS Are you scared Lantern... Scared I will kill you? LANTERN Quiet beast. Guardians given me a Cart Blanche to keep you quiet. ATROCITUS Tell me Lantern, why must you guard us. There isnt a habitable planet for light years. LANTERN Youre a ring killer. Youre lucky to be alive. ATROCITUS No luck needed when youre rings cant kill. A large GREEN HAND slaps Atrocitus. ATROCITUS (contd) Oh dont worry lantern. I WILL KILL YOU. The dust blows even harder. Atrocitus spits blood, purple oily blood. In the distance, a loud whirring growing. Two massive blue lights, attached to a large silver SPACE SHIP. ATROCITUS (contd) FREEDOM. The Ship starts blasting at the inner circle of the coliseum. ONE nicks The Lantern in the shoulder, he drops. An ENERGY Beam his the nails holding Atrocitus, bending and cracking the structure. Atrocitus breaks free, shards of the Lantern construct fly all over, Freshly open wounds bleed over the paint. He takes a few steps for footing. He turns to the Lantern, crawling. ATROCITUS (contd) Poor little Guardian slave. Poor dull pointless disgusting creature. Atrocitus picks up the Lantern, Staring him in the face.

ATROCITUS (contd) Beg and I promise the Nekron will find you much faster. The Lantern works his throat, a disgusting frown crosses his lips, muscles grow red and he spits in Atrocitus face. LANTERN Burn in hell. ATROCITUS I already have. CUT TO: EXT. YSMAULT - OUTSKIRTS Waves of red sand blow like tildes waves. Atrocitus walks freely through. Atrocitus spots the ship, landed on the top of a dune. A large door opens, Standing, a small well dressed alien, giving off the vibe of the Sicilian from "Princess Bride.", around 50s in Earth years. SECTOR 2814 - PLANET ZERBON - DAY A rocky red terrain, at first mars would come to mind, green water breaks the image, A grand total of FIVE Tall Blue terrestrials fire large ultra futuristic elephant guns at two large orange rocks, behind it: John Stewart and Kyle Rayner, both wearing very different looking Green Lantern Rings and Green Lantern Uniforms {As All Will, no Two Lanterns look the same.} KYLE Uh.... John I think were pinned down here. JOHN Stating the obvious isnt helping kid. Youve got a ring use it! - Heading his own advice John Move behind the rock. - He constructs a weapon locking around his arms, generating from the ring, a .50 CALIBER MACHINE GUN. - He fires rapid. - The Green rubber ammunition clips two in terrestrials the front.

KYLE Yeah, but this isnt like Kilowogs Training. - John moves from his rock. - He constructs a green rounded object in his hand. - A grenade pin pulls itself out. - He hurls it behind the adjacent rock. - John plugs his ears, Kyle watches and mimics - The constructs shaped like a grenade lands in front of the Terrestrials. - The two terrestrials eyes widen. - The frag shoots out green panels slamming them against the rocks. JOHN Kay kid. Your turn or else Ill leave your ass out here. KYLE Come on! Youve had this ring for six months, this is my first week! JOHN My first week I Fought a race of giant shape-shifting lizard. This is kinda small. Get an idea and just ask the ring to do it. KYLE Ohk ohk. I gut an idea. Kyle jumps from behind his cover, he stands back, an energy gauntlet covers his hand, he shoves everything he has into it! The Gauntlet shoots from Kyles hand at twenty times the size.
