Praying at Midnight for Release, Victory and Change: A 10 Day Prayer Focus!

August 28, 2008 Dear Praying Saints: I want to thank all of you for praying for us. When you get this, it means we are back home. Tomorrow (Friday) I will drive to Waco to be with Dutch Sheets and Robert Henderson as we Awaken the Heart of Texas. This meeting will be held at High Point Church. I hope I see some of you Texas folks there! Do not forget Firstfruits by Webcast this Saturday night as well as the Issachar School Course: Go Up to the High Places! Why We Do Prayer Walking and Prayer Journeys. This was a very interesting, demanding and rewarding trip. The fruit of ministry was great. I will follow with a trip report. For the one night we were in Bangkok, Thailand, the prophetic anointing was very strong and I gave the following word: You will be known as the Nation of Fire!! Look up, for I AM setting a FIRE between the powers and principalities that have ruled this nation and My people that are now coming alive in this nation. Now I will shift the government of this land in a new way. I will loose the FIRE to purge that which is not ruling the way that I long for My rule to occur. I then saw like six different heads. Leviathan is synonymous with government. I feel like this was a Leviathan structure that was controlling Thailand. When the seventh head raises up correctly I believe the power of this structure will break. I heard the Lord say, I AM raising a new head and it will display My Head of Fire. I will cover My people now. They will come alive and from this night forward, I will surround this nation with the Fire of God! You are probably reading in the reports in the world news about Thailand. The day after our meeting, demonstrations began in the streets of Bangkok. They are related to the government of the nation! Praying at the Midnight Watch! Recently, I heard the Lord say, The Midnight Hour is where your victory lies! In the word of God, midnight could represent the concept of intense darkness or even gloom. However, MIDNIGHT usually meant halfway between dark and the breaking of the light or the middlepoint of the night before the light could break through. I believe that is where we are in our lives. When I look at the USA, I believe this describes the time we are living in. Over the next month, until the Head of the Year gathering begins on September 25, we are going to be answering His call to watch in the Midnight Hour. In my book, Reordering Your Day, we are reminded of Psalm 119:62 which says, At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You, because of Your righteous judgments. This is a time in the Body of Christ when we need the Lord to deal with our enemies that are trying to keep us from entering into His perfect plan for our life, family, city, state and nation. The midnight hour was a time for thanksgiving and of visitation. Additionally, this was an hour when the Lord began to prepare

His people to receive many acts of change in the earth. This is also a key time for a redemptive shift to occur in your life. The midnight hour was the time that the children of Israel broke through to their great deliverance. (At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, creating their release out of captivity.) This is a great time of pressing through. Midnight is the time for us to praise and press the enemy and arrest His movement. If you are feeling the call to join with us at Glory of Zion, whether alone in your home or with others, please let Anne Tate know by email. Write annet[at]gloryofzion.org and tell us the nights you will be watching. We would also like to know if you are gathering others to pray with you in your home. Please include this information when you email. We believe this is a very key time to pray strategically and will be praying for you as you pray. 10 DAY PRAYER FOCUS Day 1: Read Exodus 11:4, 12:29. Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of EgyptAnd it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. This last confrontation caused a release from captivity and set Gods covenant people on a path of deliverance from captivity. Listen carefully during this time to hear your Freedom Decree! Declare that you will go into your new! Day 2 Read Judges 16:3. And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of a hill that is before Hebron. This is a time of gaining supernatural strength to press through. There are some things that need to tumble down. Ask the Lord for the strength to push. Day 3: Read Ruth 3 and 4. And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet. Ask the Lord for redemptive strategies so that losses can be recovered and your future secured! Find your new place of submission. Day 4: Read 1 Kings 3, especially verses 16-28. And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom. Ask for wisdom. Wisdom is given liberally. The Spirit of God will speak what you need to know to make a decision in your difficult situation. He will divide asunder soul and spirit. Memorize Hebrews 4:12! Day 5: Read Matthew 25:1-13. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet Him. Are you prepared? Have you trimmed away what would prevent you from going into the new? Are you ready to advance quickly and gain momentum as you go? Day 6: Read Mark 13, especially verses 32-35. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning! Ask the Lord to fully define the places that He is calling you to watch. To watch is an act of peering into the horizon so you can guard what God has given you as your portion. To watch can cause a restraint to be set in place so the enemy cannot cross that

boundary. Declare the Lord to set new boundaries for you. Ask Him to watch or restrain you mouth and speech this time, so you are only speaking faith! Day 7: Read Luke 11, especially verses 5-8. And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves. Prayer is based on sonship, not friendship. God never sleeps or slumbers and is always there to meet you. He is generous and patient. Persistence brings blessing. If you have to persist with a friend, just think of our Father who is always ready to meet your needs. Persist and receive revelation of the supply that is there waiting for you. Day 8: Read Acts 16:16-31. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. Praise Him. Praise Him. Watch the changes begin. Shackles that have been holding you will let go. Others around you will change. A new day of salvation for many will begin. Day 9: Read Acts 20, especially verse 7. And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. Take communion. Listen carefully during this hour. Expect the Lord to do a miracle on your behalf! Day 10: Read Acts 27, especially verse 27. But when the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen deemed that they drew near to some country. Some of you are like Paul, in a stormy boat trip. You might even think that you should not be where you are. The Lord is going to pull you through this tumultuous time. Stand firm and watch Him get you to the next place. You might lose that boat, but you will find your footing again! Receive a New Breath of Life! I am declaring that every depressing or oppressing situation in your life will change in the next few days. Do not lean on your own understanding, but trust the Lord to do something very unusual on your behalf. Our emotions are usually provoked, confused, and even vexed due to the lack of the Glory in our surrounding atmosphere. Arise, shine your light has come. Arise from the oppression and oppression that has held you down. Rise to new life. (paraphrased Isaiah 60:1) Ask Holy Spirit to come into your atmosphere. Lay down your right to be right. Submit and watch the power to resist come upon your life. Cry out for the Spirit of God to come and fill your surroundings. Breathe deeply His Glory as He neutralizes the spiritual forces that are contending for your joy! Change environments. Go for a walk and see something that you have missed in your near vicinity. Let the Presence of the Lord reveal the power of the small thing that He is working on your life. Walk, breathe, pray and decree! Open your window and declare that new opportunities are forming before you. Watch your emotions realign. You will see your circumstances more clearly when you just get out of one setting and see from a different perspective. Taste and see that the Lord is good. He is very near to you, closer than you know. He understands why the others around you cannot see the same as you see. Let His multi-faceted wisdom encompass your life. Declare that His blood barrier has been established between you and the demonic forces that are upsetting and removing the peace He has for your spirit man to enjoy!

Anger Opens the Door for Demonization! Watch at midnight and set a guard over your mouth and heart! Watch after your heart. Many words are stirring and lots of emotions are flying around in the Body of Christ. You could feel anger over the way others are reacting to you. If we do not process the emotion of anger correctly, we will receive that anger into our heart and the spirit of anger will dwell in our soulish realm and vex our spirit. Few benefits are reaped in becoming angry at others. If one does experience this emotion, there has been established a time frame by the Spirit of God to properly address and release this emotion from the Body. Becoming angry and not interacting with the Spirit of God will harm to your health and make you feel miserable. When anger is expressed in a wrong way, the person you are angry with usually pays less attention to what you are saying than if you'd have said it tactfully and patiently. I am declaring that you have a quiet, calm spirit. I declare you will perceive every situation with wisdom. In quietness and confidence will be your strength! Blessings,

Chuck D. Pierce
Enter Into Your NEW! The word NEW is an interesting word. All Eights (8's) are linked with some "new" beginning. I love Isaiah 43:18-19 which says: Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by! I am doing something NEW! It's springing up can't you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland. (CJB) A new thing can be happening, but in the midst of a beginning we can fail to perceive the change. In this year of Eight (8), 5768 and 2008, we must remember and contextualize everything within the understanding that we are entering a New Beginning. Remember, an END always precedes a Beginning. Therefore, the question becomes this: How are you reacting when an END comes and a NEW BEGINNING starts? I love the story of Lazarus' death. This account is a perfect example of how to perceive an END and a NEW BEGINNING. Jesus is notified of Lazarus' sickness and decides to not rush to meet the need. As a matter of fact, He chooses to go to Judea rather than Bethany, the home of Martha, Mary and Lazarus! His disciples have a very hard time grasping the reality of the situation. When He arrives in Bethany four days later, you find Martha standing and questioning the Lord over why He was not there when they needed him. The Lord tells her, Martha, if you would believe you would see the GLORY of God! Mary then approaches the Lord with the same question, but her posture is one of falling at His feet as a sign of respect, honor and submission. Mary's appeal to the Lord touched the core of His emotions, the very heart of God. This caused Him to groan deeply and release great compassion that led to resurrection power. This was a catalyst that created a chain of events that escalated the need for Him to complete His mission and get to Jerusalem and accomplish the redemptive plan of Father for you and me. All 8's are linked with RESURRECTION POWER. The series of events that we see Mary creating is key to our lives this year. In all of your situations, circumstances, and endings, let a worship posture be exhibited. This will move the heart of God and release a catalytic change in the earth realm and atmosphere around you. When it's time for the NEW your FOCUS should be: Am I PREPARED to wait until a full manifestation occurs?

To EVALUATE all new beginnings, ask yourself these questions: 1. Is the situation or circumstance you find yourself in causing you to question God's heart and love toward you and making you RESIST your new beginning? 2. Is the enemy using your reaction to stop you from moving into God's best? 3. Are you kicking against the pricks and attempting to move in a way that Holy Spirit is developing checks in your spirit? Are situations or circumstances creating roadblocks to STOP you from entering into a WRONG new beginning? 4. Is the situation or circumstance that is happening in your life initiating a chain of events leading to a new beginning? Sometimes one event in your life is a catalyst for many other things. Perhaps you have not seen the end of the thing that has begun to get you to your new place! 5. Is your situation or circumstance creating an offense that keeps you from advancing? Here is an 8 Day Prayer Focus to assist you as you press into the NEW this year. This focus is built around the Hebrew month of Shevat, the month of Asher. Remember, you can repeat this as many times as you wish. Also, you do not have to complete this Prayer Focus in only 8 days. The purpose is to help you become NEW! DAY 1: Read and memorize John 14:12-13 & Ask anything in MY NAME and I will do it! Stop and celebrate over these verses. This is a season of going beyond! We must see a manifestation of the Lord and His Glory in our midst so we can see our future. To manifest means to reveal or cause something to shine or illuminate. The Lord is saying I will cause your way toshine! Rejoice each day as you speak this word forth into your atmosphere. Read these verses three times a day. STAY AVAILABLE TO THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE WORD! Don't stop at your last blessing, but keep looking for new manifestations of God's blessings in your life. Break any mindset that says, This is all there is & I cannot see the Lord blessing me in new ways! Also, dont think that you are the source to produce your more! This is actually a works mentality that is rooted in poverty. DAY 2: Read Matthew 24:32-36. Watch the NEW BUD that is coming forth! See what the fig tree teaches! How will what has dried up and not blossomed in the past begin to bear new fruit in your life? This month, press into the blossoming that will produce the fruit and the oil for your future. List on a sheet of paper what you wish to see blossom in your life. Review what has dried up and ask the Lord to show you a new bud. Also read Isaiah 35 and Haggai 2. Be willing to be shaken and pressed so the latter glory will be greater than the former. Feel the weight and pressing of His glory that will produce the oil for your future. Finally, read Psalm 92. Declare that a new anointing will begin to manifest in you in the next several months. A nine month process is necessary for the olive tree to blossom, for its harvest to mature, and to be harvested for the production of oil. Decree that this month your blossoming begins. Expect the pressing and pouring out of your new anointing. Rejoice over the Latter Glory. DAY 3: Read Genesis 22 and Isaiah 59. This is a season to connect generationally! This will produce a sustaining inheritance in the Lord. Our generations possess the gates. Ask the Lord to roll up all the blessings of your generational bloodline that have never manifested and cause those blessings to begin to manifest. This is a year of manifestation! In many of the first chapters of each book of the Bible there is either a death or a birth.

DAY 4: Read Genesis 1, Exodus 1, Joshua 1, 1 Samuel 1, Matthew 1, and Acts 1. Certain things need to end so you can see your beginning. Let go of things in your bloodline that God exposes. Certain people will die and it will end a season for you. Others will be born. Honor those who have gone before you. Honor your father and mother so that you might live long and prosper. Receive the next amount of revelation to possess the gates of your enemy. DAY 5: Read Genesis 15, Psalms 9 & 11, Isaiah 11, and 2 Corinthians 5-6. Memorize and meditate on Matthew 3:15. Ask the Lord what "one thing" you need to do to unlock your next phase. Jesus had to be baptized by John. Let your right standing come forth! (LeAnn Squier has an incredible new song called Expose Me. This song is worth downloading on our MP3 store or you can purchase the entire new CD from Glory of Zion International.) The Lord is longing to crown you with righteousness. If we refuse to wear this crown, then the accuser will begin to attack and condemn you later in the year. Dominion comes when we wear this crown (Psalm 9). We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, but you must wear the crown of that righteousness. Our righteousness must become experiential. Stand in your righteousness. Set your face to obey and to do what will keep you in right standing so the enemy cant accuse you later for not doing something you should have done. Ask the Lord to reform the foundation for our standing. Some of you are having to make shifts because the foundations you stood on in the past seasons are too shaky for you to stand on in the next season. Some of you made great shifts back in July and September. Now allow the Lord to solidify your stance so you walk in the fullness of what He will cause to blossom. DAY 6: Read Genesis 24-26. This is a time the Lord desires to remove stones from our wells, create new wells, and bring us into an enlarged place. He longs to water the roots of our future. The Spirit of God has been taking us through a process of pulling out old root systems that will not produce the necessary fruit for the next season. This month there is a new watering and refreshing which goes down deep into root systems that have not been watered. Look for those you are aligned with this month that can fill your pitchers for the future. Let revelation and supply strategies be poured into you. At times, even that old religious structure can be your supply. This is a month that water will be poured out and turned to wine. Read John 2. Jesus had pots of water that were used for the purification ritual brought to him and then He shifted everything. Look at all your alignments this month. New energy will arise in you. Your identity can be shifted and reformed suddenly! Also meditate on John 4. DAY 7: This is a day of celebration. Meditate on your favorite Psalm. Spend this day celebrating. Do not let joy-robbers stop you from experiencing Gods best. The Spirit of God will see to it that you celebrate. If you feel like your celebration is dwindling, just ask Him to release an anointing of gladness for three more days. This will sanctify you and cause you to press past that old season. This month the trees clap their hands. The wind blows in the mulberry trees. Read 2 Samuel 5. Ask that your root system would be reformed and that the roots deep in you would be watered and flourish. Watch the trees. Watch some blossom prematurely. Watch others go into their place of nourishment. Watch how the winds blow through the trees this month. Watch the direction of the winds. Watch where the winds blow! Catch the wind that will allow you to come from behind - you can catch up quickly. Your bills will not overtake you this month. The strategy to catch up will overtake you and you will move into that new place of victory. You will surprise the enemy this month! The Lord is saying, I will give you cautions well in advance so you can shift the direction of your path. Read Psalm 16!

DAY 8: The tribe of Asher is associated with the month of Shevat. Asher was linked with pleasure and happiness and with words like delicious and fat. His mother was Zilpah, Leah's handmaid. Read Genesis 30:13 and Genesis 49. During movement and war, Asher was positioned between Dan and Naphtali (Numbers 2:27). The boundaries of the inheritance given to Asher (which contained some of the richest soil in Palestine) and the names of its towns are recorded in Joshua 19:24-31 and Judges 1:31-32. The wealth offered to this tribe could have been its downfall. Pray for the economy this year. Great fluctuations and shaking will occur in the earth. One of the promises to Asher was that he would dip his heel in oil. Watch the oil structures this month and every nation aligned with oil, every state aligned with oil and every place that is an oil reservoir. If you understand the effects of oil, how it effects the commodities, and know how to operate financially in that, you can do well! The automobile industry must begin to make a shift this month because of oil. We need to see new inventions this month, so watch for their announcement. They actually mean something this month. Your anointing begins to be produced in a new way this month. Beware of falling into religious structures; trust for an anointing to come forth that will overthrow all old structures that have stopped you in the past. Memorize and meditate on Isaiah 10:27. Anna, the prophetess, was of the tribe of Asher (Luke 2:36) and recognized the Christ child. Therefore, ask the Lord for a new dimension of discernment. Read Hebrew 4 and 5. Ask the Lord to bring us past milk. Let us digest the protein the Lord is giving us this month. Declare that we will step through the gate of life into a new type of nourishment. Go out with joy, delight and happiness! Read Daniel 1. Remember Daniel and his friends ate vegetables. They were healthy and their faces radiated! Watch what you eat these next three months. Many fast at this time of year. There are many ways to fast. Let the Lord choose your fast at times (Isaiah 58). You must shift in certain patterns or else these patterns will remain with you the rest of the season ahead. Be willing to change so you are not captured in an old, familiar place. Let God tell you the one thing you need to do. I was with one of my children's friends and noticed that he had lost weight. He said that he lost 30 pounds by not drinking soft drinks or eating fast foods for the last three months. Don't get in bondage in any ways this year - just ask the Lord to shift your appetite. It's not really about eating, but about appetite and faith! Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you! Lay your hands on your esophagus and stomach and decree healing for the esophagus, stomach and digestive system of you body. Also, declare the Body of Christ will be able to digest new revelation. Ask the Lord to allow you to spiritually digest what you could not in the past season. 2008 is a Year of Gates! In this year of going through the gates, seek the Lord for His blessing each month. Find the places where the revelation of Heaven intersects with a gate in the earth realm. Revelation creates the entry way for your next opportunity. May the Word of God come alive in you in a new way. Receive a spirit of revelation. I decree that this is just a beginning of new manifestations in your life. You will see many things happen. May you see new prosperity, digest new revelation, and receive a new anointing. May you create new inventions. In Jesus name I send you into this Year of the Gates, the Year of New Beginnings, and into all your blessings that will manifest and blossom.

50-Day Prayer Focus Entering into Harvest Praying

June 2, 2004 Dear Bountiful, Reaping Pray-ers: I am excited about the following 50-Day Prayer Focus on Entering into Harvest Praying: Receiving Joy and Experiencing Release. In the Biblical Hebraic timetable, we have just entered the Pentecost season. Personally, I will be regrouping, catching up on reading some of your emails, and spending some much needed family time over the next ten days. This prayer focus is for all of us to shift our minds and thinking processes toward HARVEST. Remember, this is the time that we are to be watching NEW DOORS FORM. To form means to develop or mold the shape or outline of something or to give meaning, character or nature to something. Another way of looking at a forming time is when something is becoming what it will be in days ahead. This includes the conditioning of our mind and body in regard to its mental performance in days ahead. A forming season includes conceiving, training, and disciplining. This phase denotes the arrangement of the part of a thing that gives its distinctive appearance. A key scripture reference for the time of Pentecost is I Corinthians 16:8. Paul purposed to stay at Ephesus until Pentecost, because an effectual door was opened to him for his ministry. This was what the Lord showed me when He visited me in December. Many enemies are behind this forming door, but the Lord says: Do not focus on your enemies during this season, but watch the door form and be ready to enter into this new opportunity. I will give you grace over your enemies.

UNDERSTANDING PENTECOST
The Pentecost Feast was known as the Feast of Weeks (Ex 23:16; 34:22; Lev 23:15-21; Num 28:26-31; Deut 16:9-12; and 2 Chron 8:13). This feast was observed in late May or early June, 50 days after the offering of the barley sheaf at the Feast of Unleavened Bread during Passover. Passover is a time to remember our deliverance. Pentecost is a time to thank God for our blessings, abundance, and rejoice over harvest. Characteristics of this time include: Joy, Happiness, and Celebration. During this Feast, you enter into a time of offering concerning the Firstfruits Dedication (Lev. 23:9-14; 2 Sam. 21:9-10; Ruth 2:23). This is the Feast to thank God for His abundance which represented blessing. In the NT there are three references to Pentecost. I Corinthians 16:8 was mentioned earlier. The most common reference is Acts 2:1. On this day, after the resurrection and ascension of Christ, the disciples were gathered in a house in Jerusalem, and were visited with signs from heaven. The Holy Spirit descended upon them, and new life, power, and blessing were evident. The 120 turned to 3,000 in one day. Ask for your 120 to turn to 3,000! The early Christian Believers, who were gathered in Jerusalem for the observance of this feast, experienced the outpouring of God's Holy Spirit in a miraculous way. Peter explained that this was a fulfillment of the prophecy of Joel. The tongues symbolized the antithesis

of Babel's confusion of tongues, and represented the gathering of peoples under one mind and will to advance the Kingdom of God. Jerusalem, the mount of the Lord, is the center of God's spiritual kingdom of peace and righteousness. Babel, the center of Satan's kingdom and of human rebellion, ignores God as the true bond of union. The city of Babel represented confusion. The Spirit of God, given to Believers on Pentecost, represented the fact that God had come and His people would be "keeping the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" (Eph 4:1-16). The third New Testament reference to Pentecost is Acts 20:16. This feast was also known as the Feast of Harvest (Ex 23:16; 34:22; Num 28:26-31; Deut 16:9-14; Lev 23:15-22). The first sheaf offered at Passover and the two leavened loaves at Pentecost marked the beginning and ending of the grain harvest, and sanctified the whole harvest season. The lesson to Israel was that the Lord had given them the best for the year ahead (Ps 147:14). The purpose of this feast was to commemorate the completion of the grain harvest. Its distinguishing feature was the offering of two leavened loaves made from the new corn of the completed harvest, which, with two lambs, were waved before the Lord as a thank offering. Pentecost also was the time of the giving of the law on Sinai (Ex 12:2, 19). At Pentecost the Lord wrote the law on our hearts and initiated the Church Age. This became the first Feast in which Christians participated and celebrated. This should be a time of celebration each year. I believe the understanding of this Feast is very important. The spiritual aspect of this is necessary if we are to multiply.

TIME FOR HARVEST!

Most of us do not understand harvest time. Because of our complex lives, we are far removed from the actual production of our food supplies and the origination of the source of our provision. The harvest was a very important season (Gen 8:22; 45:6). Events were reckoned from harvests (Gen 30:14; Josh 3:15; Judg 15:1; Ruth 1:22; 2:23; 1 Sam 6:13; 2 Sam 21:9; 23:13). The Pentecost Feast represents: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. A Season of Gathering (Zech. 8). A Season of Judgment (Jer. 51:33, Joel 3:13, Rev 14:15). A Season of Grace (Jer. 8:20). A Time for the Good News to be Heard (Mt. 9:37-38; Jn. 4:35). An End of a Season or Age and the Beginning of a New Season of Provision (Mt. 13:39).

We must understand that Harvest has a process: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. The seed is broadcast and plowed under in late winter. The prayer for rain the early and the latter rain (Zech. 10). The grain was grasped and cut with the sickle (Deut. 16:9 and Mark 4:29). The grain was gathered into sheaves (Deut 24:5). The grain was taken to the threshing floor. Tools were used for threshing. You have tools for harvest. The grain was winnowed (tossed in the air). Let the wind blow away your chaff. The remaining grain was shaken into a sieve (Amos 9:9). Some of you are in this process. 9. The grain was brought into the storehouse. Find your storehouse.

Now, the Harvest must be protected because Harvest has major enemies: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Drought. Ask the Lord to identify and break all your dryness. Locust invasion. Ask the Lord to remove any devouring in your harvest. Plant Diseases (mold, mildew). Ask the Lord to remove any mold in your life. Hot, Scorching Winds. Ask the Lord to turn any adverse winds. War. The enemy wanted to live off the land. Declare that any enemy that has eaten your harvest will run out of your land.

FIRSTFRUITS: A KEY TO BLESSING

This feast was called the Day of First Fruits (Num. 28:26) because it marked the beginning of the time in which people were to bring offerings of firstfruits. It was a feast of joy and thanksgiving for the completion of the harvest season. These offerings were then presented as a wave offering for the people. The first of the fruit (such as grapes) grain, oil, wine, and the first of your (sheeps) fleece were required as an offering (Ex. 22:29; Lev. 2:12-16; Num. 18:12; Deut. 18:4; 2 Chr. 31:5; Neh. 10:35,37,39; Prov. 3:9; Jer. 2:3; Rom. 11:16). At this time, the Lord was credited as the source of rain and fertility (Jer. 5:24). In the New Testament the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples at Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4), at the festive time when Jews from different countries were in Jerusalem to celebrate this annual feast. The interval between Pentecost and tabernacles was the time for offering firstfruits. Ask the Lord to identify your firstfruit offering. This is a time for harvest praying. I hope the following 50-Day Prayer Focus will help you to understand and enter into this harvest season. Blessings,

Chuck D. Pierce
(No specific dates are placed with the days since the Prayer Focus is received at a variety of times. You may begin whenever you receive it.)

50-Day Prayer Focus

Day 1: Read Hosea 6, especially v. 11. Ask the Lord to revive and raise you up. Ask Him to reveal your harvest to you. Also, O Judah, a harvest is appointed for you, when I return the captives of My people. Day 2: Read Exodus 23, especially v. 16. And the Feast of Harvest, the firstfruits of your labors which you have sown in the field; and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field. Thank God for His leading. Be willing to follow Him. Thank Him that He has given you firstfruits. Day 3: Read Gen 2 and 8:22. While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease." Ask the Lord to reveal your harvest season to you.
