anything 1.1-8 sem marksheet (attested xerox + original) 2. consolidated marksheet (attested xerox + original) 3. transfer certificate (attested xerox + original) 4. provisional degree (attested xerox + original) 5.10th(X-th) marksheet (attested xerox + original) 6.12th(XII-th) marksheet (attested xerox + original) 7.Birth Certificate( attested xerox + original) if in case u don't have your birth certificate u have to get an affidavit from a lawyer towards ur birth place and date of birth (affidavit should be in a 20 rupees Indian non-judicial stamp paper bought in ur name) (NOTE: any other proof is useless in TCS they are very specific about this Birth certificate or affidavit) 8.passport(not mandatory),pan card (attested xerox + original), 9. an affidavit from a lawyer that there are no criminal cases pending against in u (affidavit should be in a 100 rupees Indian non-judicial stamp paper bought in ur name). 10.ur service agreement in a 100 rupees Indian non judicial stamp paper. All the related documents will be available in ur nextstep portal. (NOTE: In the service agreement u have to get a surety for the payment of 50,000. the person who gives this surety must be an income tax payer) 11.Form 16 of the surety giver's attested xeror must be brought and attested passport xerox of the surety giver or PAN card attested xerox of the surety giver must also be brought. these are the supporting documents for ur service agreement and are mandatory 12. call letter and offer letter 13. formal dress is a must inside the training campus. better have atleast three set of formal dresses.(for gents full slag formal shirt ,formal pant, leather shoes ,belt, tie is must). 14.Passport size photographs -20nos.

Note: The Originals of these documents along with one set of attested photocopies of each needs to provided on joining for ILP: The original documents stated above will be returned to you after scrutiny. You should necessarily have completed all course formalities, including Project Work and viva from your respective Institute before you report for the ILP. This article is taken from Joining Annexure of TCS To ensure a hassle-free joining at TCS, you are requested to complete the following activities / bring the following documents: You should have completed the first phase of National Skills Registry (NSR) registration. Completed Background Check (BGC) forms (no need to bring Demand Drafts as mentioned in some of the forms). Completed Medical fitness certificate. Original and at least one attested (by a gazetted officer) copy of documents listed in the following .
Documents Checklist

Proof of Qualification Mark statements from Class-X onwards. Mark statements for all semesters Consolidated Degree mark statement. Degree Certificate (If Degree Certificate is not available, Provisional Certificate / Course Completion Certificate. Proof of Address One of these: Passport, copy of Electricity Bill, Copy of DoT landline Telephone Bill. Proof of Identity PAN Card. One of these: Valid Passport, Driving license, Voters ID card. Proof of Age Birth Certificate (If birth certificate is not available or if it is in local language, Birth Affidavit). Other Documents Service Agreement (for all those who are selected for positions in grade 'Y') PAN Card TCS Offer Letter and Joining letter Affidavit undertaking on a Rs. 100/- stamp paper. Documents to be submitted for Background Check (BGC) Completed Background Check form (hard copy of BGC Form - Campus Trainees.pdf). Academic Records a) Matriculation and Inter/Higher Secondary marksheets. b) All semester marksheets for post graduation, graduation and diplomas. If the final semester marksheet is yet to be issued by the university/institute, you are required to submit the same before the completion of the ILP. c) Degree certificate/provisional certificate for post-graduation, graduation and diplomas. If the same is awaited from the university/institute, you are required to produce the Course Completion Certificate issued by your institute head or director, which is only a temporary arrangement. II. Other Relevant Documents/Requirements a) Birth certificate issued by the concerned government authorities. b) Note: The class X and/or XII marksheets or certificates from the hospital/community and nativity certificate will not suffice. In case you do not possess a birth certificate containing your name, date of birth and place of birth, you are needed to obtain an affidavit on a Rs. 20 stamp papers signed by a notary with these details. Since this is a temporary arrangement, you will be required to furnish the birth certificate before the completion of the ILP. c) A valid passport (if any) d) Offer letter and joining letter e) 12 passport size photographs f) Date of birth and other details of the person you would like to nominate for Gratuity, Superannuation, Provident Fund and Health Insurance Scheme g) Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card copy h) Medical Certificate i) Gap Certificate (if any) Note: The originals of these documents along with one set of attested photocopy needs to provided on joining for ILP. a. From TCS: Service Agreement between You and TCS. b. From TCS: Affidavit Signed by Notary Public (Please dont give more than Rs. 30 for the signature). c. From TCS: Surety Verification Form attested by the Bank. d. From TCS: Medical Certificate of Fitness attested by a Registered Medical Practitioner.

e. From TCS: Acceptance of Joining. f. Academic: Matriculation and Inter/Higher Secondary marksheets. g. Academic: All semester marksheets of our BE Degree issued by Anna University. h. Academic: Degree certificate/provisional certificate for BE Degree issued by our college. i. Personal: Birth certificate issued by the concerned government authorities. j. Personal: A valid passport (if any. take it's receipt at least). k. Personal: Offer letter and joining letter. l. Personal: 12 passport size photographs. m. Personal: Date of birth and other details of the person you would like to nominate for Gratuity, Superannuation, Provident Fund and Health Insurance Scheme. n. Personal: Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card copy. o. Personal: National Skills Registry (NSR) Card copy. p. Personal: Income Tax returns, Form 16 of Surety, (if salaried). q. Note 0: I hope, all the documents covered. Do create a check-list for all these and make sure you have verified it with your joining mail correctly before submitting. If there are any mistakes in the above said details, please do correct me, at least in the comments. Note 1: If you have submitted an invalid document, or document with mistakes in it, you will be given just 3 days of time to correct them and re-submit them. Else you will be batched only with the next batch. Note 2: Carry all the above said documents in originals. The originals will be returned after verification on the same day. (Not very much sure for this) Note 3: Documents to be attested: The documents given from the candidate to the TCS, like Marksheets & Certificates, have to be attested. The documents given by TCS need not be attested. Its a copy for your personal use. Note 4: Photocopies: Please take two photocopies of the documents you are submitting to TCS. One should be submitted for the initial thing and other will be needed for various things there.

On Your Date of joining, you are compulsorily required to bring the following documents:

1. Academic Records
a) Matriculation & Inter/Higher Secondary Mark sheets. b) All semester mark sheets for Post Graduation, Graduation & Diplomas. If the final semester mark sheet is yet to be issued by the University, you are required to submit the same before you

complete the ILP. c) Degree certificate/Provisional certificate for Post-Graduation, Graduation & Diplomas. If the same is awaited from the University, you are required to produce the Course Completion Certificate issued by your Institute Head or Director, which is only a temporary arrangement.

2. Previous Employment(if any):


Relieving Order from your previous employer(s) is a mandatory requirement. This document should be issued on the letterhead of the company, duly signed and sealed, clearly stating your name, designation, the period for which your were employed and the date withe effect from which you have been relieved. You will be required to mention your Provident Fund Number under your previous PF coverage if you intend to transfer the same to your new TCS account. Note: In the event of your not being able to produce this document on your joining for the Initial Learning Programme, we will not be able to permit you to undergo the ILP.

3. Other Relevant Documents/Requirements :


a)Birth Certificate issued by the concerned government authorities.Please note that Std X/XII Marksheets / Certificates from the hospital/Community And Nativity Certificate will not suffice. In case you do not possess a Birth Certificate containing your name, date of birth and place of birth, you are needed to obtain an Affidavit signed by a Notary with these details. Since this is a temporary arrangement, you will be required to furnish the Birth Certificate Prior to completion of the ILP. b) A valid passport (if any) c) Offer Letter, Joining Letter d) 12 Passport size photographs e) Date of birth and other details of the person you would like to nominate for Gratuity, superannuation, Provident Fund and Health Insurance Scheme. Note: The Originals of these documents along with one set of attested photocopies of each needs to provided on joining for ILP: The original

4. Service Agreement:
Only one surety is required to complete the formalities in your Service Agreement. The Service Agreement (it will be enclosed with your joining letter) needs to be duly completed, bearing your Suretys signature on the bottom part of all pages and at the designated places on the last page. A surety can be a person who is an Income Tax payee or who possesses land property. You are required to produce the following documents as an annexure to the Service Agreement. Only attested copies would be accepted. Original or attested photocopy of LATEST (Form 16 / PAN Card /IT Returns(acknowledged copy of IT Assessment order copy)) OR Original / Attested photocopy of the Land Deed or Land Passbook (for those having Agriculture as occupation) along with a recent Valuation certificate of the property (in English only) from the competent authority, duly signed and sealed. The present market estimate of the property should not be less than Rs.50,000/Alternatively, in lieu of the Surety you may bring a Fixed Deposit taken in either of the following formats:
Joint account between Tata Consultancy Services Ltd and You In Your name either ASSIGNED to TCS Ltd or Lien noted in favour of TCS Ltd.

5. Surety Verification form: (will be enclosed with the joining letter) which must be completed by your surety, attested by a competent authority, and submitted along with your service agreement.

Dress Code:
We follow a formal dress code on all business occasions, but allow business casuals for Friday and Saturday. mens wardrobe include full sleeved formal

shirts, trousers, tie and black leather shoes. Ladies may wear salwar kameez, formal trouser and top or Sari.
