Rehearsals of Republic Day Parade, 2013 shall be held on Raj Path on 17
th
,18
th
,
20
th
and 21
st
January, 2013 from Vijay Chowk to ndia Gate.

Route of Parade: - Vijay Chowk Rajpath 'C' Hexagon upto ndia Gate.

n order to facilitate the uninterrupted movement of Parade on Raj Path, there will
be restrictions on the movement of traffic crossings at Rafi Marg, Janpath and
Mansingh Road from 9.00A.M. till 1200 hours on these dates.

Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to ndia Gate will also remain closed for traffic.

Suggested Routes:-
North to South and vice versa:

Ring Road i.e. Ashram Chowk-Sarai Kale Khan .P. Flyover

Rajghat.

Lajpat Rai Marg Mathura Road-Bhairon Road-Ring Road.

Aurobindo Marg - Safdarjung Chowk - Kamal Attaturk Marg - Kautilaya

Marg Sardar Patel Marg - Mother Teresa Crescent RML. - Baba
Kharak Singh Road to reach New Delhi.

Prithvi Raj Road Rajesh Pilot Marg Subramaniam Bharti Marg

Bhairon Road Ring Road.

East to West and vice versa:

Ring Road Bhairon Road Mathura Road Subramaniam Bharti

Marg Rajesh Pilot Marg Prithvi Raj Road Kamal Ataturk Marg
Panchsheel Marg Simon Bouliver Marg Upper Ridge Road.

Those working in North BIock and South BIock shouId take foIIowing routes:

(a) From South Side

South Avenue-Dalhousie Road- Hukmi Mai Road- South Sunken Road and
reach North/South Block.

(b) From North Side

North Avenue-Brassy Avenue-North Sunken Road and reach North/South Block.

Motorists coming on Vinay Marg, Shanti Path and going to New Delhi and
beyond should take Sardar Patel Marg - Mother Teresa Crescent RML Baba Kharak
Singh Marg or Park Street Mandir Marg and proceed further to North Delhi/New Delhi.

Buses from south side destined for CentraI Sectt. shaII be curtaiIed at:

L Vishwa Yuvak Kendra
LL Tyag Raj Marg
LLL Krishna Menon Marg
LY Maulana Azad Road
Y Dr. Zakir Husaain Marg

Other buses going to New Delhi Railway Station shall take route via Sardar Patel
Marg-Simon Bouliver Marg-Upper Ridge Road-Park Street-Mandir Marg.

Because of diverted traffic, congestion is likely to take place on these roads.
Motorists are requested to have patience, observe traffic & road discipline and follow
directions of Traffic Police personnel deployed at all intersections. People are
requested to plan their journey to avoid inconvenience.
