Lab 1, part II PH 212 Lab and Course Introduction

Purpose of the lab: Note: To familiarize yourself with the purposes and policies of PH 212 and its lab. This is a take-home assignment, due from each student by Monday, January 14, 5:00 p.m. It is worth 15 points and will be scored by your lab TA, then returned to you. As with all lab assignments in this course, be sure to review that scoring; if you have any questions or issues with it, ask to meet with your lab TA. (Lab solutions are never posted.) No extra paper is neededwrite on the pages provided. The answer to each item here can be found on the OSU web site or the PH 212 web site: http://www.physics.oregonstate.edu/~coffinc/COURSES/ph212. You will save a lot of time by thoroughly reading first all parts of the PH 212 web site (starting with the Announcements), rather than just randomly searching/skimming for the answers.
