Top of the Community Awards of Excellence will recognize the person, business, or organization whose deeds and actions have contributed to the betterment of the Flowood Community. We are requesting your help in finding these unique and loyal individuals. The following distinctive awards will be presented at the 6th Annual Luncheon hosted by the Chamber of Flowood. Please fill out the nomination form on the reverse side and return to the Chamber of Flowood no later than Friday, January 18, 2013

Eligibility & Nomination Requirements

Nomination must be received by January 18, 2013

Business of the Year

The Flowood business whose volunteerism, deeds and actions have had the greatest impact on the Flowood community.

Entrepreneur of the Year The businessperson who owns and or manages a business in Flowood whose volunteerism, deeds and actions have made a difference in the Flowood community. Educator of the Year Student of the Year Senior Adult of the Year The Flowood teacher who has uniquely enriched the lives of his or her students and the Flowood community. The Flowood student who, through volunteerism and dedication, has made a significant difference in the Flowood community. The Flowood senior citizen whose act of kindness and volunteerism has made a significant difference in the Flowood community.

Public Servant of the Year The Flowood public servant who is employed by a government entity (police, fire, city, county, state federal, etc.) who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to make a difference in the Flowood community. Service Organization of the Year The Flowood service organization, non-profit, whose deeds and actions have contributed to the betterment of the Flowood community.
