General Overview

Established in S.A.E. Free Zone (Egypt) in 2008, Efadco Petroleum Services Co. is originally the representative for a number of oilfield-related companies. We started by offering downhole tools for rental such as Drilling Jars, Shock Subs, Drill pipes, Tubing, etc. Since our first customers required flexibility in sourcing arrangements, we specialized in providing individual services, such as custom-made tools. After constant periods of strong market performance, Efadco enlarged its scope of work by providing rental of Supply and Support Vessels to the offshore drilling operations and, as of recently, the rental of Land Drilling Rigs.

Our Difference

Since its establishment, Efadco Petroleum Services Co. has gained a reputation of excellence in providing quality performance services to the Oilfield industry. From the beginning of Efadcos foundation, it has been based on a Free Zone status. This allows us to operate Duty Free, which enables quick transfers of moving equipment into and out of the country and gives us a cost advantage of about 25% less than our competitors.

Environmental Policy

Efadco Petroleum Services Co. also recognizes the importance of environmental protection and operates its activities in a manner which demonstrates respect for the environment in which we live and work. This is done by the implementation the following: Limiting waste generation, discharges and emissions and handling waste in a responsible manner Minimize spills, leaks and accidental discharges while conducting operations Usage of energy and natural resources in the most efficient way Preparation of instructions and equipment for handling environmental emergencies Being aware of the public attitude and concerns and maintaining an open communication with interested parties about the effects of our operation This policy is communicated to all employees, suppliers and contractors and available to the public. Our Facilities

Efadco Petroleum Services Co.s facilities include a 3,500m workshop in the free zone of Suez City, a 3,800m workshop in the industrial area of Zahraa El Maadi, Cairo as well as a 10,200m yard in New Cairo. We maintain a stock of over 10,000 downhole tools, and we recently acquired two brand new land drilling rigs: - 2000 HP AC/VFD Rig with top drive - 1500 HP AC/VFD Rig with top drive They will start operation by the end of year 2012. Additionally, we are planning to finalize the purchase of two work-over & pulling units (750 HP truck-mounted) in Q4 2012.

Since April 2012, Efadco Petroleum Services Co. operates from its new 2,800m corporate headquarter located in New Maadi, Cairo, which allowed recruiting and hiring of new talents, both technical and support staff. Besides, we are focusing on the global extension of our business, adding international staff to our team.
