Product category- Textile

Level of investment- I will have to take out a sizable loan from banks or get some serious investors involved in my textile business. The level of investment would be 20-30 lakhs in the beginning. Region- Northeast and wants to export all over the world. Introduction- A textile or clothis a flexible woven material consisting of a network of natural or artificial fibres often referred to as thread or yarn. Yarn is produced by spinning raw fibres of wool, flax, cotton, or other material to produce long strands. Textiles are formed by weaving, knitting, crocheting, knotting, or pressing fibres together (felt). The words fabric and cloth are used in textile assembly trades (such as tailoring and dressmaking) as synonyms for textile. However, there are subtle differences in these terms in specialized usage. Textile refers to any material made of interlacing fibres. Fabric refers to any material made through weaving, knitting, spreading, crocheting, or bonding that may be used in production of further goods (garments, etc.). Cloth may be used synonymously with fabric but often refers to a finished piece of fabric used for a specific purpose (e.g., table cloth).

Business plan- I will start my textile business by selling them to export houses. Since Ill be a new comer in this field, hence it wont be clever enough on my part to start up with a export house of my own; main reason being the buyers would be apprehensive about trusting a new exporter. This would be the short term goal. In the long run, if the business succeeds, I would prefer deal with the buyers through my own export house which would entirely deal in home furnishing.

Region- Guwahati Level of Investment: 70-80 lakhs. Loans from bank and through partnership. Tea is an aromatic beverage commonly prepared by pouring boiling hot water over cured leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. The term also refers to the plant itself. After water, tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world. It has a cooling, slightly bitter, astringent flavour which many people enjoy. Consumption of tea (especially green) is beneficial to health and longevity given its antioxidant, flavanols, flavonoids, polyphenols, and catechinscontent. Tea catechins have known anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective activities, help to regulate food intake, and have an affinity for cannabinoid receptors, which may suppress pain and nausea, and provide calming effects.

Business process- Guwahati is a developing city. Like any other city, Guwahati is also home to many coffee shops like Barista, CCD etc. But there isnt any tea parlour as of yet n the city. So I plan to open up a tea parlour. With the growing population of tea lovers in the country and especially in the north east region of India, I believe it is going to be a hit. We would also serve snacks, cold beverages (different flavours of tea), salads, brunch meal. I have planned to make the whole parlour a wi-fi zone where in people from working class can come, sip tea, meet

friends and at the same time work (since its an internet era). I will also hold lotteries every weekend afternoon wherein the winner will be given an assured gift (promotions). There will be a book-zone where in books from different zones will be kept. In that way, I can do my part to revive the dying reading culture (since Im an avid reader). There will be Karaoke sessions every weekend evening (Hope to be the 1st of its kind in Guwahati) which I hope will attract a lot of customers. My staffs would be a combination of both ladies and gentleman; English, Hindi and Assamese (the regional language) being a must for them to be fluent in.
