CERTIFIED BY AND CONDUCTED UNDER RULES OF THE USBC

1. Eligibility: All entrants must be certified in the RIMM Association 30 days prior to the tournament start date to be eligible to bowl in the Association Tournament. 2. Handicap: 90% of 1050 team, 90% of 420 Doubles and 90% of 210 Singles. 3. Team Bowling: Entrants may bowl as many times as they wish in team event, however, the first team event will be used for All Events. This includes bowling as a substitute. Teams may enter under different sponsorship; however, not more than three players on any one team may place more than once in the team event prize category and position standings. Doubles/Singles Bowling: Bowlers may bowl as many times as they wish in doubles and singles, however a bowler can only cash once with the same partner for doubles and only once for singles. The first doubles/singles event bowled, even if as a sub, will be used for All Events. Bowlers entered in the doubles event must also enter the singles event. Doubles will be bowled first with singles following on the same pair of lanes. 4. Scheduling: Teams will be scheduled as lanes are available, as per the listed squad times. Doubles and singles will be scheduled as lanes are available, as per the listed squad times. Teams that wish to bowl together MUST submit their entry forms and fees in the same envelope with their request noted on the tournament form. Same ruling applies for doubles and singles. Scheduling will be done at the discretion of the tournament manager if entry forms are NOT designated with preferred dates and times to bowl. Tournament manager will assign lanes. Two sets of doubles/singles (or 3 if needed) to each pair of lanes whenever possible. 5. Averages: Bowlers are responsible for verifying her average, whether submitted by the bowler, the team captain or other. Averages that shall be submitted (a) book average highest RIMM certified 2011-2012 winter season average, based on 21 game or more. (b) If a does not apply use highest average use highest RIMM average based on 21 games as of Dec 31 of current season . (c) If a or b do not apply, use highest USBC book average based on 21 games for the 2011-12 season (e) If none of the above apply, entrant must use the scratch average of 210. If the submitted average is lower than required and results in more handicap, the bowlers score is disqualified. If the submitted average is higher than required, the prizes winnings will be based on the submitted average. All verifications must be received prior to scheduled bowling time. Rule 319 (a) (2) and Rule 319(e) are waived. 6. Rules 319(d) Tournament Prize Winnings and Rule 319 (e) 15 pin increase in average are waived. 7. Prizes: Ratio of one (1) for each six (6) entries for team, doubles, and singles. For all events, a ratio of one (1) for each nine (9) entries. Trophies/Plaques awarded on highest scratch scores of tournament. A special tournament pin will be awarded to each entrant bowling a 200 game or over. One to an entrant. A special achievement pin will be awarded to each entrant with a 149 or under average who bowls 50 pins over average in a single game. One to an entrant. Prize fees will be returned 100% in each event. 8. All Events Substitutes: Paid all events are not transferable unless the substitute replaces the original bowler in all three events. The transfer must be recorded by the tournament manager prior to the substitute bowling in any tournament event. 9. Scheduled bowling: Any bowler or team arriving late shall begin play and the score shall count beginning with the frame then being bowled. Absolutely no score will be given for frames missed. Doubles/Singles If a bowler is late for the doubles event, the bowler present will be permitted to bowl the singles event first. If a substitute bowler cannot be found for the doubles event, the present bowler shall be permitted to bowl in the doubles event in order to qualify for her all events score. The decision of a postponement will be the responsibility of the tournament manager and Rock Island-Moline-Milan USBC WBA Board of Directors. 10. Shadow Balls: 10 minutes prior to the start of the competition will be requested from the proprietor. 11. Protests: All protests of scores must be filed with the local association manager within 24 hours of the time bowled. The decision of the tournament board of directors shall be final unless an appeal is made in accordance with Rule 329. 12. Ties: If a tie for first place occurs in any event, a roll-off shall be bowled within ten (10) days of the close of the tournament, at a date agreed upon by the tournament manager and bowlers. Three (3) games shall be bowled and the cost of such bowling shall be tournament expense. Exception to this rule: If two (2) teams are tied and a bowler(s) bowled on both teams, co-champions shall be declared and supplicate awards will be given. In an All Events tie, a trophy will be awarded to each winner. 13. No flash pictures allowed during tournament play.
