Treasures from heaven

Recover All!!
Perhaps you have stepped into 2013 having had tremendous challenges and have come into the new year scarred. Maybe you lost your job. It could have been a relationship breakdown between husband and wife, parent and children, or between friends. You could have faced liquidation, bankruptcy, or repossession of your home. Now you are faced with a new year and it all seems pretty bleak. You cannot see the wood for the trees. That dark cloud doesnt have a silver lining! How are you going to recover? And to make matters worst, everyone is blaming you for the mess you and the family are in. In 1 Samuel chapter 30, David is faced with a great challenge. Everything he and his people had were stolen by the Amelakites. All their possessions including their wives and children. Now the people are angry and thinking about stoning him to death. The first thing David does is to inquire from the Lord. It is not time to give up! Dont sit and feel sorry for yourself! Go and inquire from the Lord! Cast all your cares on Him and seek His counsel! God responds to David and tells him to pursue the enemy and he will overtake them and he will RECOVER ALL! As he journeys with his men they come to a river where 200 stay behind because they are exhausted. He is left with 400 to go and recover all according to Gods instruction. In your journey this year to recover all, some people might not go with you. They might not understand what you are about. They could be facing their own struggles and too tired to support you. DONT WORRY! God has promised you that you will recover all. It does not matter how many support the conference, or attend the Church meetings, because you will recover all! Further on into the journey David comes across an Egyptian who was a servant to the Amelakite king. They had just left him on the roadside as he was ill and could not be bothered to help him. David stops and takes care of him. Take time in your journey to recover all to take care of those who need your help. As it could well be that the person you minister to and take care of, will be the one who will take you into the enemys camp so that you can recover all. Because this is what David experienced. As he recovered all, they journeyed back to where the 200 were waiting. The men that helped David said that they could not enjoy the spoils as they were not with them. David rebukes them and said that even though they could not go with them, and regardless of the reason, they too will benefit from the victory. Even though there will be friends who could not walk with you through your struggle to recover all, when you are blessed and the anointing of God is on your life, they too will experience what God has done for you because He has called you as a minister of flame!
