T.M. Machinery Takes On Viet Wide Belt Sander Range; Demonstration Date Change T.M.

Machinery Sales, best known as UK agents for the Striebig range of vertical panel saws, have entered into a distribution agreement with Biesse UK to sell, service and provide spare parts for the artisan range of Viet S1 and S2 wide bel t sanders. There will be a hands-on demonstration event on Friday March 1st. Leicester, UK, January 10, 2013 -- T.M. Machinery Sales, best known as UK agents for the Striebig range of vertical panel saws, have entered into a distribution agreement with Biesse UK to sell, service and provide spare parts for the artis an range of Viet S1 and S2 wide belt sanders. The move will give Viet, which became part of the Biesse Group in 2011, access t o the large number of small and medium size manufacturers who make up T.M Machin erys core customer base. This is an important market sector for the Viet range. Matthew Pearce, a director of T.M. Machinery, said: The agreement with Biesse mak es excellent sense. On show will be the versatile Viet S1 and S2 models. The S1 machine will feature a combination head with two rollers for calibration and pre-sanding plus a full electronic sanding pad followed by a Tynex brush for maximum finishing capabili ty. It also features inverter control of the abrasive belt and conveyor belt spe eds for maximum flexibility. Touch screen controls are provided for operator eas e and speed of use. The Viet S2 is a highly sophisticated machine, described as the ultimate in surf ace finishing. The machine on show combines a fully electronic cross belt sandin g head followed by a combination head with roller and electronic segmented pad f or delicate finishing, and a further electronic segmented pad head for final fin ishing. Belt blowers, finishing brushes and turbo panel cleaners are incorporate d for the complete panel finishing solution. Program storage and retrieval along with intuitive controls are provided via the use of a 15 touch screen.
