Padziwe Digital Library is a computer-based software containing learning materials for secondary school education.

The learning materials cover both JCE and MSCE levels of study. There are 12 subjects in this database: Agriculture Bible Knowledge Biology Chemistry Computer Studies English o Grammar o Literature French Geography Life Skills Mathematics Physical Science Chemistry

These subjects are covered in a deep and comprehensive manner to make sure the students understand the concepts fully. A student can study the materials in this educational software and pass their national exams. Apart from these subjects, Padziwe Digital Library (PDL) also contains the following sections: 1. Topical Questions Many subjects in PDL contain a subsection called topical questions. This section contains questions focusing on a specific topic in particular subject. For example, after studying the topic of MS Excel 2003, a student would want to evaluate themselves as to how good they have understood the topic. To do this, they can just navigate to the MSCE Subjects, go to Computer Studies, further visit the topical questions for this subject, and then choose the set of questions dealing specifically with MS Excel 2003. The answers to these questions also are provided in the database 2. Examination Bank This section contains exam question papers for the subjects included in PDL. Unlike the topical questions, these question papers do not focus on a specific topic but the whole subject in general. These papers were prepared in various years by various schools and examination boards in Malawi as well as the whole world. Students can test their level on understanding on a particular subject by using these questions papers. They are a good resource for exam preparation. 3. Study Guides Students are supposed to be aware of what they are expected to learn and master for them to be fully prepared for exams. Many a time, students find themselves studying some topics which are not required by the current syllabus of the subject in question. The Study Guides section in PDL seeks to avoid this academic time-wastage by letting the students know the topics which they must know in order to prepare for exams effectively. The syllabuses in this section are current and up-to-date. 4. My Notes This facility allows users of PDL to create their own notes and save them in the database. The notes are saved in a neat and organized manner. So, say a user finds some important notes which, for one reason or the other, have not been covered well or even not included in Padziwe, the user can just type these notes in PDL and save them there. In this way, users have the capability of improving and updating their copy of Padziwe Digital Library. 5. Study Tips 6. Media Types The learning materials in PDL are: Animations Videos
